I have just replaced the regulator on the same Seat Alhambra and I didn’t remove the speaker or glass. You can push the glass all the way up and tape it with masking tape whilst you replace the regulator.

I am in the process of ordering a replacement regulator for my Alhambra and had been watching this video (which is extremely helpful of course), and I was wondering whether removal of the speaker was necessary - so thanks, you answered my question. The speakers are riveted in with pop rivets and I don't have that tool in my collection, so I'm glad it's not required.

Hi, thankyou for your super, indispensable video! So helpful. When I carried out the same procedure I noted that the door speaker was in fact pop/snap rivited into the door, so these must be drilled out if needed for access (or new speaker). As it happened it was ok left in place. Love your work

Thx for the video , very helpful , for VW Sharan 2014 , passenger side regulator , right side , steering wheel on the left. Also like some one 'bellow in the comments' , I didn’t remove the speaker or glass. You can push the glass all the way up and tape it with masking tape whilst you replace the regulator. When mounting back the regulator you have to struggle a little bit because of the window , but it can be done . Also I have 6 clips instead of 7 , on the door trim.

One thing I've noticed is that there are not a lot of the front right regulators on the 2nd hand market, via for example eBay. There are loads for the front left, loads for the rear left and rear right, but hardly any for the front right. I did buy one on there eventually but it was double the price of what most sellers are charging for the left front one. I don't really see a reason why they are so scarce, maybe somebody can fill me in? Not that it really matters now anyway, I was just interested. Same applies to the brand new units on eBay too, the front right is much more expensive, lots of them seem to be in Germany or Latvia and cost upwards of £40 plus £20 or more for delivery. I didn't even bother to look into how much it would have cost to get a new one from VW/Seat, no doubt it would have been £150 at least.
It's about £90 from official supplier.
Hi, your videos are very helpful. Just a quick question. Have you ever had to replace the radio head unit? I have front speakers that sometimes don't work then they do. Not sure if it is the speaker wiring or the head unit?
If I replace it with a third party unit, do you think the parking sensor will work along with the steering wheel buttons??
Any help would be appreciated.

Can u suggest me my driver window didn't move I heard big TUK sound from there and then when i press button only I hear some kind of running sound I think it's moter,plz share ur experience with me what can damage.
Does the window work? Is motor turning?
If not, probably the best way to check is to remove the trim and see what's going on.

No window doesn't work,I can hear the motor sound. It's regulator problem,I have new regulator now but in ur video doesn't show complete how did u fit the glass back on the regulator.
Once you take the glass out, you'll see how to put it back - it's pretty easy.

Do you mean harness? I think they all should be good as long as part number matches. This one was bought from TPS for about 100 pounds.

Whether that's regulator harness or regulator motor, still same - as long as it's correct one, it should work - cheap or expensive... unless they sell you faulty one.

Try to reset tyre pressure with the button. If after some time it comes on again - that would mean you have a leak somewhere.
Letters W or H mean speed ratings. I normally don't look at them as I don't go over motorway speed limit, even when I drive through Germany. Here is article to help you:

Hello there, does the regulator run out? I opened half way and it automatically opened full and doesnt close it. If i click up it gives me some clicky sounds but window doesnt do anything. So its regulator? Thank you
It don't think it can run out - it's like a loop. Most likely it's broken, especially if it tries - it makes clicky sounds, otherwise we can blame buttons or sensor.

Sorry Ali, I don't know. I think probably it's not a clutch, because normally if there's any problems with the clutch, it's not just one gear affected. Maybe something in the gearbox, or those cables that connect gearbox with the stick. I'm not professional, not sure how to help you with this, sorry.
