In this video you can see how to remove Ford Galaxy, VW Sharan, Seat Alhamra 2000-2006, (and other VW group cars as well like Skoda) door handle and how to repair broken plastic pin inside the mechanism, which caused a jammed window switch button at up/down operation.

Thanks - going to buy a replacement switch and fix my 2006 Seat Alhambra. Just wasn't sure how to get into the door.

My car locks and unlocks automatically and the windows don't work anymore, when I press the de-mist button for the rear screen the hazards come on!! Will replacing this switch fix it??

I dont think it will solve it. It could be an other issue on comfort electronic but I am not an expert in that.
