The evidence is clear on why people voted to leave, immigration was the top issue, followed by the impact of immigration which is clearly lower wages for the working classes, a lack of affordable housing, a lack of public services which the public have paid for, and for many young families insufficient local school places. It is very clear that immigration does have an impact on society, and its important for governments to ensure its a positive impact, or reign back on immigration until they have the resources to make it positive.
