Artwork Storage Jinga: to avoid the Jinga game and to prevent the hanger hardware on one frame damaging another, I store my listed artwork vertically on different height racks, set to a few heights. I also face them frame face to face and back to back on the shelf, with a layer of cardboard or 1/4” foam (like poster board) between them. I just cut it to the height of the shelf space. As I pull the art, I leave the cardboard/foam spacers on the shelf, waiting there until they are needed again. When I source the art, I put them into the cart and truck back to back or face to face in pairs

Hi Karen! I’m new to your channel and reselling. I’ve been binge watching your videos all week. Love your personality and your methodology!! I was thinking it would be neat to do a video showing whether or not items from one of your old haul videos sold and how long it took for the items to sell and for how much. That might be a ton of work…I don’t know. But would be really interesting! Once again really enjoy watching and learning from you!😊
Happy New Year, Karen. So glad to watch your videos any chance I get because you are so real with what you do and how you do it. Hope that you had a nice vacation in the warm weather.
How odd that someone would accuse you of hoarding. Your basement is clearly like any business warehouse. Your inventory is well organized. I think what you do is so good for the environment. Reselling clothes keeps them out of the landfill.
More lighting: I’ve begun using the new type Led Lights that have 3 or 4 flat panels that can be adjusted to spread the light pattern. They spin into a standard basement style light fixture base, but because they are LED, produce much more light, while using less electricity. As my eyes age, more light is better, in my work areas.
@@lavenderclothesline Hard to tell in the video, with the lights on, but I agree that the new lights are great. Now you'll have to look into adding a few more fixtures, while not overloading the basement circuit. Most basement circuits never received much in the way of amperage, back in the day, because no one spent all that much time down there. If the electrical power panel is already in the basement, then adding an additional circuit is pretty easily done because the wires can be run along the floor joist sides. I can tell by the floor joist bridging (small joist bracing boards) that your house is probably from the1950s to 70's, so it was likely they only gave it one or two 15 amp lighting/outlet circuits to begin with.
Thank you for this video, I have often wondered about reselling, do you wash the clothing and\or iron or steam? Also with the household items, do you wash those or just remove the Goodwill tags?

They spin into a standard basement style light fixture base, but because they are LED, produce much more light, while using less electricity. As my eyes age, more light is better, in my work areas.
That’s what I’m currently using
@@lavenderclothesline Hard to tell in the video, with the lights on, but I agree that the new lights are great.
Great job! People just don’t get it sometimes… u gotta have big inventory to have big business 😊
I learn so much from you, always!
Now, if only I can learn how to be organized like you.🥴

Thank you for this video, I have often wondered about reselling, do you wash the clothing and\or iron or steam? Also with the household items, do you wash those or just remove the Goodwill tags?
Great to see behind the scenes stuff!
I'm enjoying your videos and you are doing such an amazing job. Thank you for posting these videos.
