Seeing this in person is on my bucket list... As a poet, if I could participate would be even more thrilling. I am in the United States however, and decades older than the oldest participant. So I content myself watching on UA-cam.
So much violence, self loathing, desperation; emptiness. What's missing? I Know What a joy to walk in the pastures of green, beholding visions that few have seen. Beneath our feet are the clouds of a dream; where the cool waters of life, flow gently downstream.
Our rest is sweet in the strength of our Guide; His path is sure, no threat will abide. The song of our Master has silenced the pride. His hands and His feet; I recognize. We've grown to adore His Tender Voice. Though His staff is Mighty, we follow by choice. Even the mountains in Him rejoice. The Majesty of The King, with the Heart of a Boy. We'll never leave Him, where would we go? No one else could Love us so. We follow with delight, wherever He goes. With His Words in our hearts, for His Voice we “Know”…
