Charles and Betty Russell Park Trail (in 4K)

Located near Central Park. This Ashland, Kentucky trail is perfect for hiking, and those who want to hit a nice trail for some exercise without traveling a great distance from downtown. Just blocks from Kings Daughter's Medical Center this little gem of a trail gives an backwoods feel, to a trail near downtown. Some views of the city can be had from the trail, and wildlife can also be seen. Couple this trail with the Armco Park Trail, and the Ashland River Walk next to the Ohio River, then you have three nice exercising locations in one city. This is not a backpacking trail. Only a day hike. There are not any epic views. Enjoy this virtual hike through portions of the trail and you might see some deer in the distance.
