hahhah I rewatched that scene after you're comment and realised I did that.... how embarrassing :p Such a habit - wasn't even a conscious thought. Thanks for watching :)
Welcome back, another Great Video from you two. We did the Oodnadatta Track from Marla to Lyndhurst in 3 days. There is so much to see on it. Fly netts are a must. Had tea at William Creek Hotel. Excellent meals. It was a mainly dry track, with only a couple of puddles. Safe Travels.
Thanks so much for checking this one out! Sounds like your oodnadatta adventure was just as good as ours :) We will definitely have fly nets next time...
@@BorderlandExplorers Yes we stayed at Wilpena, Rawnsley Station and Mount Little Station and did some long drives through the ranges from there. Nice up there.
Thanks so much guys! Such a nice compliment honestly. It's always our goal to do these epic spots justice if we can :) Your channel looks great too - just subscribed 👍
I just did a trip around the northern end of WA,a trip of 4000km with a caravan with a weight of 2500kg. It was a very relaxing trip ,no complaints at all. For towing I like it very much.very steady and safe. This car feels very safe on the road.my model is the GLS .
Wow, what an awesome trip! We love all of WA, but particularly the Northern end - some beautiful spots up there. Glad to hear your setup is treating you well - a 2.5tonne van would be a nice size to have 😀
I reckon someone has to invent rechargeable clothing, that zaps flies.. 🤑🤑🤑 Mum had stubby coolers, tea towels, and hats from the laps we did back in the 80's and 90's.. we still have some tea towels from here and there. I will always remember some roadhouse somewhere had a crow in a cage that said "go awaaaayy" when anyone approached it. I highly recommend laps of this beautiful land, instead of school 🤠. Thank you for sharing your adventures 😊
Now THATS an idea! Imagine if they’d all just drop off you the second they landed on you. We’d buy them! 😂. The crow sounds hilarious. Sounds like you did some awesome trips - I know we’ve learnt so much about not on my our country through the process, but about ourselves as well. Thanks for watching - we’re glad you enjoyed it! 😀
Hi guys, came across your channel today. Watched your Oodnadatta track and well done on the pronunciation of the bridge even here in South Australia. There’s always some bickering over the pronunciation.
Thank you haha! We do our best to pronounce place names correctly (sometimes we forget to check though and have no reception to google it when we are filming). Loved it out there - beautiful part of SA!
just subscribed you guys seem cool great quality camera work and interesting narration, you two will make fantastic parents if that's what you want to do
Hey guys! So sorry for the slow reply. We used Selleys Kwik Grip Spray Contact Adhesive to stick the carpet to the canopy door and then just bought some stick on velcro and put that on each individual patch as we bought them (obviously hook side only - the carpet then acts as the loop) 😁 It's been pretty fun collecting them.
We were there around March/ April and found the weather to be really nice. Cooler at night, but not ridiculously cold. And the days were a perfect temperature. We were lucky to have no rain too 😀
@@BorderlandExplorers That sounds absolutely perfect! So great you are able to record all these great times and memories, now they're all immortalized! :D thanks ill be aiming for that next year too :D
