Glass is endlessly recyclable. I can put it out with my weekly recycling, but very little of it can be returned to the supermarkets for a deposit refund.
Absolutely! It’s great that glass is endlessly recyclable! ♻️ While curbside recycling is common, exploring deposit return systems can help boost recycling rates even further. 🌍✨
I must admit that I was a little surprised to read what it was called! As mentioned, it would seem that someone got a little confused in the transcription phase.
In California, there’s a recycling regulation that says to redeem cans for the CRV, the store only has to allow 50 cans per person per day to avoid monopolizing the store’s employees in a non profit job.
The recycling process starts with sorting glass by color-clear, green, and brown-because different types melt at slightly different temperatures. Broken glass (cullet) is cleaned, crushed, and prepared to be reborn into new bottles and jars.
In UK, I broke up my double glazed window frame and took the glass out having been told, nobody recycles this sized glass as the UK don’t have the Technology. 😅 I was told to Chuck it in the Landfill waste.
It's frustrating to hear that, as glass recycling technology is improving! 🌍🔄 In the UK, there are actually more options for recycling various types of glass than many realize, so it's worth checking local facilities!
Almost Everything can be Recycled, sadly most plastic and food waste go into the landfill, along with paper and cardboard. and a lot of plastic is shipped to the middle east or other country's to be recycled, but mostly get just dumped on the ground or put in landfills there. This planet would be a heck of a lot cleaner if everything was recycled and not just throwed away. the country was a lot cleaner before the government started controlling everything for profit.
When I was a kid, there were deposits of 2 and 5 cents on all soda bottles. My friends and I would collect them and use the refunds to buy candy and other things.
Humans will never “save” the world. We can improve how we take care of it during our time on earth, but there will come a time when the earth we know will no longer exist. Some of us will live on a new earth. It’s never too late to experience this new earth and heaven when that time comes.
Hello, I live in Algeria and we do not have glass recycling stations and there is a large surplus of it. If you know of some companies that import glass or recycle it, I am ready to communicate with you.
That's a great observation! 🎨 In the recycling process, color separation at the early stage helps improve quality, but sometimes mixed colors are accepted later for efficiency. ♻️

Glass, the most recyclable product on the planet. People in the mediaeval period were still remelting Roman glass. But why do they refuse to recycle window glass?
Totally get what you mean! It's wild how much glass can be recycled, but window glass has different properties that make it tricky for the recycling process. 🤷♂️🔍
Haha, right? 😄 It's always surprising to see how many people forget to remove the caps before recycling! Every little detail counts in the glass recycling process! ♻️

Man will never save the planet! God, the Creator of everything, is keeping it! He will even make a brand new one in the future, only for those who serve Him and believe in Him. And that one will be forever and ever. Not like this one we have now, corrupted by sin.
@@Factory.Secrets Glass recycling is not God's creation! This is man's creation. Now, although glass recycling is good for the environment, it will never save this earth. This planet will get close to be completely destroyed in a near future! This earth was created by God, is kept by God, and will be one day destroyed by God. He will create a new heaven and a new earth for eternity. This is what His written word, the bible, says.
So before the new planet comes, we should just do whatever we feel like to this planet. (You don't mind if my dog poops in your yard, do you? God will take care of it.)
@@MiNa-kv3lp This is not what I said. I said that God will take care of this planet, cause he created it. Man cannot save this planet, even though some so-called scientists say they can! It's a trick to get more money from our pockets. That's all it is! But I never said that we are not to respect that nature that God gave us. That's what we should do. But man by itself cannot do what only God can do. This is the point. Now keep your dog in your yard, cause I keep mine in my yard. That's the way it goes. God doesn't keep my yard. I do!
@@MiNa-kv3lp People already do whatever they feel like! And nothing will stop them! Pollution will keep increasing until Christ comes back on this earth. So Jesus Christ will make this earth like new, when He will appear at His second coming, (which is very close) to reign on this earth from Jerusalem, for a period of a thousand years. There will be real peace on this earth for the first time, since the creation of man. And after the thousand years, God will destroy everything that exist and create a new earth and a new heaven, where there will be no Sun, no Moon, and no Stars, for eternity to come. So keep taking care of the earth, but never think that we will save this earth. We won't! And keep your dog in your yard, as I keep mine into mine. I pick up the poop on my dog, in my yard. And you should do well to do the same.
