Omg we have the same last name!! Ik I seem so excited about this but Yadao is such an uncommon last name here, it's the first time I've seen someone else other than my family with the same last name 😂
Love this! I used to be really into beading when I was younger and even had my own "business" with business cards and everything haha I would get some beads from the craft store, but I would also buy up cheap jewelry at thrift stores or stores that sell out-of-season stuff from retailers at a fraction of the price and then repurpose the beads/charms. It's a great way to get a variety of beads cheaply 😊
Beading is therapeutic and so much fun. Unfortunately, I never expected it to cost so much money. I've totally ended up spending more than I intended to on beads as well! >_
Thank you! Also tip to keep the beads from getting super tight when doing the other end. Coil the necklace on the side you finished! It'll help keep it from being super tight as you finish ❤
What I love about beading necklaces is that I can make them with nice patterns and color-coordinated, or I can just use every type of bead I have and make a one-meter long string of beads, to wrap around my wrist multiple times. Either way, it's so relaxing
I’m definitely gonna be trying this and cause my dad owns a ton of tools maybe he has some of the starter ones in his garage!! For anyone wondering, I spent some time lion them up! The red and black one at 2:16 is a chai nose plier! For the green one at 2:25 it is a simple needle nose plier, or snipe-nose plier! For the tweezer the are simple s curve or curved tweezer you can find at any drugstore or convenience store, and for the rest she put those in her description!!
I absolutely loved your video! You explained everything so simply and just perfect! You saved my life! I started with bracelets, moved onto ankle bracelets and now trying necklaces 💪🏻 Thank you, thank you!
Hey! Great tutorial! I started with beads many years ago, I didn't like. Now I'm getting back into it, Taylor Swift coming to Liverpool (UK) and two women were asking if I could do a workshop on bead making. I said yes! I'm getting my beads wholesale, I know what you said, you don't have to buy in bulk to start out. That is true but running a jewellery workshop in an Art City, is difficult. No jewellery supply companies at all. There maybe one shop that sells a few bits (at an expensive price) but very inconsistent with stock.Anyway, thank you for the inspiration, I will give this necklace a go.
omg stephanie i JUST started making flower bead necklaces yesterday and went to get more beads today because i'm already obsessed and then you post this !!!!! it's a sign lol so excited to make more!! and i love the ones that you made here :-) so pretty
I've been thinking about picking this up as a hobby because I used to be more crafty when I was a teenager and always found it very relaxing. I love being super detailed and think I'll really like beading! No idea where to start though and what tools I need, so this was soooo helpful ty!! ☺️❤️
I have been thinking of doing this for a long time since in our place, small businesses are more on scrunchies, earrings, etc. Though I admit I haven't understand the part where u started inserting the locks, I think this video is very helpful! I'll make sure to watch again later and finally decide if I am really ready to do things like this 💚
Love your beating instructions you're so detailed. I started beading when I was a teenager . My mom would take me to the local stores to buy beads.I would use Fishing wire and instead of putting all those little clamps at the end you just burn it with a match it would create a little bubble at the end ...you probably could Google it.. I definitely am subscribing to your channel and following your Instagram ..I love beading!!.. try crocheting that's pretty easy and you use your hands and it's not pricey..
me and my best friend bobs have been beading during quarantine as well! i was so happy to see u post on IG cus i was like OMG SAME! wish there were more videos like this. ❤️ u explain it so well!!
hey, you really don't need that jump ring as you've bought some soldered rings. and messing with the size or the jump ring makes them a lot weaker! but looks really great, I hope more people try this!
Beading is so much fun and it makes me clam down but beads cost so expensive (TAT). Can someone suggest any cheap beads shops in Amazon ? Thank you guys
ok this is the first time i've ever seen a beadsmith and holyyyyyy I NEED ONE

I’ve started about 7 different hobbies during quarantine and I haven’t touched them since. I’m hoping this isn’t gonna be one of them 😪

Hi does the necklace work with string instead of wire
It would, but it would be way more likely to break over time
