Hello. 35 years old here. There just came a time in my early 30s when I looked in the mirror and realized that time was running out. I started to notice that all of the other adults that I assumed were my equals or better, are actually pretty dumb. I didn't have to give up gaming, I just started balancing my time more, so I didn't miss out on life. I recognized that you should never go to school, work, or even get out of bed, unless it's for yourself, not anyone else. Life is more relaxed now. Life is better.

This is why I'm gonna go hard in the paint in pursuing an acting career at the ripe age of 31 because boomer mommy and daddy wouldn't let me when I was younger and because of it I'm more or less a waste of space now

That’s the whole paradox they live in, they have a degree now, it should land them a job with more earning potential, but often times it doesn’t work out like that.
But a lot of them refuse to budge and they need to put some use with that degree, pigeonholing themselves into 1 narrow path or skill set.
I personally never went to college, I just hopped between apprenticeships or trade jobs until I found one that paid decently and wasn’t horrendous. Now I make just as much, if not more than many of my peers, have weekends off, bills are paid. I really can’t complain.

Were the same age, and you got me thinking of things that were already in my head. Your 20's and leading into 30's can be arguably the peak of your life if you play your cards right. Every year feels like a new peak for me, and these are things I've lived by personally:
    1) Mistakes are not failures, rather lessons.
    2) Skill stack. What I mean is learn new things, and ideally ones that are high value and can get paid a lot of $ for. Marketing, software dev, design etc. Sales was mine of choice.
    3) Going to the gym will do wonders for your mental health. The physical is just a bonus at this point.
    4) Invest. Invest. Invest. First invest in yourself, and then get your $ in the market as fast as possible on a recurring schedule.
Good points in the video. Keep crushing it man!

But I’m pity my time in as a residential carpenter. I work with my father who has all the tools soon fortunate there. I met my wife in rehab when I was 24 tho then at 26 my daughter was born the. I was 29 when my son was born now I’m 30. We struggle and are constantly having to barrow money and pay it back jist to barrow it again but we TRY SO HARD. My wife is 32 her oldest (my stepson) just turned 14 last night. When I met him in 2019 he was 8 I was 25. Here we are. Went from living in her parents to working three different jobs ( two line cook jobs and a moving gig on the side) getting a two bedroom duplex to a 3 bed 2 bath and now ITS getting small. My children are rapidly aging as so are we. Make the best of this summer. Summer being the youth of life. Don’t wait till September comes to then realize….
