Everyone bitching about the vocals...they are fucking awesome. Bjorn is incredible and honestly I like the new vocalist. He is a very close match to Ezra. This is definitely one of their best songs. I'm excited for this new album and all future Allagaeon albums.

To those ripping them for a song with cleans, they are trying to diversify. It doesn't mean they are going that way every song. Same with the flamenco. Diversity and talent wins the day, not a band that does the same song over and over. I'm more than ready for this full album! I wonder if even Metal Blade realizes what talent they have here? They SHOULD be more well known than they are!

its not easy for cleans to be this good a lot of times they end up being repetitive and something that has already being done and for me the best part about this song is not the vocals but the amazing songwriting
To be honest, I love the cleans, they're a breath of fresh air and fit really well. They should really consider doing stuff like this more, it's amazing. Oh, and that guest solo was awsome, gotta love Ben, shame he left Bloodshot Dawn...
Seen this 1000 times and will watch it prob 10k more. Nothing beats highly complicated shredding at blistering speeds and a maniac on the drums

The last two minutes of this track is the best last two minutes of any track in existence. Every time I hear it I want the world to hear it.
The first Allegaeon song I heard was Grey Matter Mechanics on liquidmetalxm. If that's what they call the station any more, I've been out of the metal loop since I stopped playing in bands in 2010. I see comments on here of people bashing and defending the newer singer. I definitely went back and listened to all the other albums. I'd say the new guy has more range and I love the clean sections. That cover of Subdivisions was phenominal, always wanted to do a metal version of it, they did it perfectly. I think Pain of Salvation's "BE" is the last album I bought that gave me goosebumps until I heard Proponent for Sentience all the way through. Metalheads get all uppity when their band changes a little. It's still heavy as fuck, it's still technical as all hell and it's progressive metal at it's finest. Definitely one of my favorite bands now.
Never been so excited anymore since I discovered the aggressive guitarplay of Dave Mustayne back in the 80's. What a revelation, these two. Singing fits just right and the drummer is also from out of this world. Musically spoken I'm lucky again. JIIIIIIEEEEHAAA

I love the music but for my taste I prefer the growling and screaming to be punctuation, not the main text. It has more power that way, imo. Not my band not my call, to each his own and all that.

The man is an absolute god on vocals, and if you aren't familiar with the name you better getcher learnin' hat on and go back to school, cuz Soilwork was doing it better than anyone before you were shittin' in diapers.

Everything about this song is fucking perfect- the intro, the solos, the riffs, the chorus, the transitions, the lyrics- everything was so on point that it's so fucking hard to understand why this video doesn't have 10x more views. It's hard to remember the last time I've gotten such an eargasm for a song before, but boy it feels fucking good

I just found this band recently, and I feel compelled to say this: These guys are amazing! At first I was drawn in by their ability to not take themselves seriously (proof: watch the video for 1.618), but I am just blown away by the mastery of their given craft.

Brilliant, as usual! Only concern is that some of the lead sounds buried under that Opethy/Dimmuy wall of sound. Not the case on the Grey Matter Mechanics vid, so I hope this is a product of this particular video (i've listened to it on multiple platforms so please don't suggest that if anyone chooses to respond). I'll just assume that the production will be A+ on the album, because on all past albums the clarity has been exceptional. Good work as always gentlemen!
