Like any good mystery, “Vermin” peels back the layers of a compelling and dramatic story as explained by vocalist Riley McShane. “ALLEGAEON has been fortunate enough to have an incredibly supportive back end from day one. However, we have had some personal encounters with extremely predatory and ill-natured figures in this industry and ‘Vermin’ is dedicated to them. I still have an old email in my sent folder from 2010 where I asked allegaeon for guitar tabs of FOFAF. Greg sent them personally. Such an awesome fucking band to this day.
Reminds me of the time I messaged Garth Brooks to tell him how great he was, and like a week later he raped me.
For awhile my friend was getting lessons from Greg, even though my friend is his equal on guitar, but he felt paying him for lessons kept him improving. Real cool dude from what I understand.
I received bass tab for 3 songs when they were looking for a bass player. I realized I was no where near where I needed to be as a player! LOVE these guys - great peeps, sad to see Reilly cutting out.
So outrageously heavy, technical, and yet melodic. Everything clicks so well on this track. Their dual guitar attack is at its best here, both in rhythm and especially with the trade-off soloing. What an amazingly talented group pumping out some of the most awesome heavy music out there. Bravo Allegeaon.

I saw these guys play in 2008 just out of high school back when they just had a 4 song ep and they opened for a grindcore band called poolside at the flamingo.

Apoptosis didn't do it for me it had some good songs but overall it wasn't their best effort compared to proponent for sentience or even this new one
I agree. This is my favorite so far. I’ve been listening to death metal since the 80s and this band is a breath of fresh air.
