a perfect guide! Thank you : ) . The one from Phillips is super fast and they don´t really show very well where the places you should lubricate are located on the machine. This one did it ;)
I have been using my Phillips / Saeco for 13 years and brewed over 10K cups and I lubricated maybe 5 times. Now I brought a new one (3200) because the old grinder is worn out, however the rest of the machine still works fine, it still brews if I use the pre-grounded coffee. No issue with the Brew unit which is the same on the 3200. So I’m skeptical if you really need to lube that often.
Nice video, direct to the point and articulated! Is there a way to bypass the low water detector? I use filtered water and the low water light is on when the water tank is full. I tried mixing in tap water but the tap water is not very clean in my area….
It is so great that I need to share it on my Pinterest profile. Thanks for sharing such useful knowledge. Manual is confusing and pictures not very accurate.
Hello, thanks for your video…. So, where or how i can buy that lubricant? My machine looks to be making an abnormal noise from the group ( unit) and it doesn’t pours much coffee at the front…. Thanks 🙏 Thanks
My unit grinder is spinning but not actually grinding…..getting water instead of coffee. Do you have any recommendations on how to check grinder or get into that area ?
As per instruction, cleaning the brewing group, every 7 days, greasing every 50 coffees. Though I find that greasing it every 3-4 months is actually more than enough.
Warning: The Phillips official video recommends NOT to use paper towels to minimize the possibility of having wood fibers in your coffee. They recommend using a damp towel. Other than that the rest of the video is Ok.
Hello! Can I remove aqua filter when rinsing the water tank weekly? Is it ok? within a week the water tank became a little slimy/dirty and i wanted to wash it with soap.
try to move part that pushes basket beacuse it usually stucks on the hot water valve. Here on this video at 4:22 am touching valve socket and this tray moves. Check it. ua-cam.com/video/t_4_QD2E94E/v-deo.html If you still have problem - let me know I will make another video.
To dry it,,,use hair dryer to blow it dry right right? :) The visible o-rings need to be lubricated as well...very very careful lubricate them ...without lubricant the o-rings will be very very easily ripped apart!
@@BBWalkerTV LoL hahaha...I bought myself couple o-ring set of 3 (2 inside and 1 on the brew group) just in case! Your video is hilarious , fun to watch!!
So what I understand is that I don't have to clean in weekly, because I'm not using it must, I'll check it every month, do I have to lubricate it every time? Because from inside it's still with lot of lubricate
The machine comes greased from the factory, and a lack of grease shouldn't affect the outcome of the coffee very much. It is more to extend the life of the moving parts
Hi again. Hope you don't mind me asking questions. I just recently purchaced the lattego and i have a question. What about if i leave home for couple of days? Should the watertank be filled so the filter doesn't sit in the dry?
Hello there. Sure It is better to leave water in tank because if it becomes dry filter may stop working. Of course after you came back - pour out the old water and refill the water tank with fresh water.
With thorough washing, water will wash away all grease together with coffee residues, so you need to lubricate it after washing and drying. In terms of lubrication after the first wash: In my case, there was not a lot of dirt, so I washed it gently with water and quickly got rid of coffee residues and there was still a lot of grease. Personally, I only lubricated it after about a month. Regards Mariam
You mean at all water levels - you have half the volume ? Programming is only for the biggest water program (3 dots) rest of them should be constant. If it occurs at all levels It may be a malfunction. How you you are using this coffee machine ?
It is a little bit hard at the beginning but try slightly move it forward or backward inside and you will find this "perfect spot" when it comes out easily
After I cleaned my unit I keep getting the solid red light under the triangle warning light. I have verified the brew unit to make sure the yellow triangle is aligned with the black triangle, everything looks good, the door closed fine but as soon I turn on my unit, I keep getting the solid red light under the triangle warning light. I have checked everything at least 20 times. Any ideas how to fix that?
Once I have such situation and the reason was that basket mechanism was not in the IDLE position - it was "suspended in the middle of the cycle" . Please take a look on the video again when am I showing it and compare with your unit. Maybe you need to move a Little bit this yellow lever that is responsible for removing coffee from basket. This is the only idea comes to my mind right now. If you start the machine is does the "self test" and whole cycle on the mechanism is done, can you hear any difference in the sound during start ?
@@BBWalkerTV I have this exact same issue now, wondering if you had any more advice, I took it out one time and now just a solid warning light no matter what
This is likely caused by the brew group not being in it's starting position when inserted back in the machine. If you look at the side of the brew group with the writing on it (the side that says PUSH) you will see a yellow circle. There is a tiny arrow on the circle that must align with the arrow on the housing. To get it into position you have to grab on to that yellow piece and move it until you get the arrows lined up

The manufacturer says not to use towels, paper or other on this unit. To let it air dry as the fibers can affect the machine.
