Yes, I am one of the more than 5 Million people here in the US who loves the shoe. I brought four season last year. Last year I brought season 4. And so again this week I will buy season 5. Having studied European history in college especially the royal family history, this just fits right in. It is really really a great show. And to have a great channel, PBS, to show this series is very nice. I have been a PBS ( Channel 11 WTTW) member here in Chicago for more than 20 years now .It is very very nice.
The only episode of season three I didn't like is episode 8- when they found out that Thomas was gay and were cruel about it (because im gay and obviously was a little offended)
They had to show it how it was then. Julian did not want to offend anyone but had to be true to the times. Thank god its not like that now for most of us.
It is NOTa soap opera and its Lord GRANTHAM not lord Crawley
I swear, if I hear one more person say "Lord Crawley..."
It's not 'Lord Crawley' and 'Lady Cora', it's 'Lord and Lady Grantham'
Maggie Smith is everything
Including a chicken
If you are a lover of PBS and it's programming it's NOT a shock to us at all that they have hit shows. Maybe to the uninformed. Just saying......

Hugh Bonneville is lovely out of costume, I've met him twice.
I love Michelle and Maggie the best hahaha
It's DOWNTON Abbey. Not Downtown Abbey. Jeez!!
I love your typo abc👌👌👌
@HarrietVane She is Lady Cora. Violet is Lady Grantham
you refer to him as "Lord Grantham" not "Lord Crawley"
I started watching this last week. Just finished s3. Sadness.
He is so derogatory in opening comments
"Highbrow" ahahahahaha
Lord Crawly? WTF?
*Crawley
Lady Grantham, NOT Lady Cora!
Serie, que pasará a la historia como 'Joya ' entre las obras inglesas.
Lord Crawley...lol
Haha, I would totally be disappointed if I ever saw any of the actors in real life and they weren't in costume.
una serie maravillosa
*downton abbey
it's more fun to call it downtown abbey
