Only put it in the LLC if the label belongs to you as an artist. DBA's will not give you protection against the Trademark. So, you're better to just put it in your name and change the ownership status later.

If you have the money for the annual fee , can build a brand and business strategy , know who you’re targeting as an audience.. then yeah start the LLC. Only if these aforementioned traits are checked off.
With LLC you can get a business checking account. And then you can have a payroll company, directed by you, send money from business checking to you or your artists/ employees. This payroll conpany is pretty cheap but will handle your w-9 to employees, give you pay stubs, and has a digital process for new employees to enter social security and handle federal and payroll taxes for you

Bro , llc are flow through entities. They dont get taxed. The parent company will & thats where u do payroll. Take distributions from your llcs if needed but that money is used to re invest and keep business going . Bills . Etc etc Keep self employment tax in mind

So let's say I have a structure like so: Hot Stuff is my record company, can the publishing company, the touring company, the merchandising company, & brand endorsement company all be branded as Hot Stuff but they just are shown to be different sectors or do they need separate names? The parent company would be Blazin Core. Oh and what if Blazin Core was also the distribution company, (like Def Jam is under Universal Music Group) How does that work?

What's helpful about having more then 1 llc is the fact you can open multiple banking credit accounts under each one. But you can only do this once the llc is 2 or more years old. So even if you feel don't need right now, maybe you'll never get around to needing or using em, but in case you do having it already there and in the system having been around for x amount of years is only going to benefit you. Highly worth the 10$/ llc opening

I made a Publishing llc first but it’s names …. Blank “Records llc” should I still “DBA” a record label or new llc?
Ahhh if you're making under 12-13k a yer you can do a dba anymore than that put it in a new llc.

Yes you can but you should not attempt this with anew artist if you've never done one and successfully grew one company! This is an advanced strategy.
