    • @Davidjune1970
      @Davidjune1970 2 роки тому +128

      This isn’t the fault of a parent. It’s a kid who is so influenced by their peers they thought this was a good solution to their problems.
      Todays society with two working parents doesn’t provide the average family the amount of connected time they used to have with their kids.
      Most kids interactions are with their friends in school, their friends on social media, their friends during leisure time. Their parents get them for a 3 maybe 4 hrs after work before people have to go to bed to start the next cycle … and even then those kids are likely not that engaged with their parents because they want to speak with and chat to their friends.
      Parents have been replaced by peers for most of these troubled kids. So you have immature kids providing advice and guidance to other immature kids.
      No one ever thought of the consequences or social gaps forced on families when the parents role was reduced because the government decided it was worth making things so expensive that two people had to work.
      Someone waited in that truck to drive that kid away … it wasn’t their parent it was their “friend” and accomplice … the cheer leading squad who obviously agreed this was the best plan for both their lives.

      It's Very Possible & Likely These Were Other Gangster Youths Involved In Organized Crime . Maybe They Had Guns Too & Pulled Them First . The "News" Certainly Never Makes It Clear What Happened Til WAY After The Events Happen . Which Isn't Very Helpful At All .
      GANGSTERS Cause Most Of The Violence & Crime In The Nation & World . If These Were Gangster Youths The World Is Probably Better Off Without Them . And The Other Gangsters Are In Jail . Which Is Good .
      This Is Probably Mexican Cartel & Gang Organized Crime So It's Actually Not Sad That They Are Dead , If They Were Gangsters .

      @@onegrapefruitlover I think he’s advocating regarding things like the fact that being a minor gets his picture prevented from being shown, gets his name not shared - gives his privileges he doesn’t deserve , even though what he did was fucking heinous
      I think he’s trying to show the mockery of protecting teens as fragile and incapable of making decisions safely for themselves yet they can go and act like this and kill other kids - how about we stop hand holding their every action when they do shit they have no business doing let’s blame them as well for their actions.
      I don’t know
      I can’t imagine he’s advocating for age of consent bans. However- it’s pretty fucked. When I was 15 my best friend had a thing for older guys- (older being 21-22) and she met this kid at a college party we went to. We looked older than we were and we damn sure dressed older. We hung out with older kids, I’ve always hung out with older kids. She ended up being obsessed with the dude she met. She fucked him that night. Excuse my language but it is what it is. She ended up seeing him a few more times but when she found out he had a girl he was already serious guess who started threatening him and who flaunted her real age to him and had him absolutely terrified.
      His whole future was jn her hands. And she loved it. She had him terrified and victimized him the whole following summer. I’ll never forget that shit. I’m a passive person and for most of my life I was a magnet to vicious and narcissistic people. Because I was such a friggin peacemaker and could tolerate them longer than anyone else. She was a terrible person and it was actually what she put Mikey through that year that ended our friendship once and for all because it was so cruel and horrifying to me. I felt awful for him.
      Luckily she never actually did any of the things she was threatening him with. But she could have. And she would have ruined his life.
      And why? Because she was 15 and looked 18 and lied to him about her age.
      So I kinda get the idea of being fed up with treat minors like some kind of innocent baby that is always the victim and incapable of wrongdoing even when they commit wrong doing. Their choices are still choices. Protecting this kid from having his name put out there, having his photo out there, treating his with rights and privileges he doesn’t deserve after he slaughtered three other kids is gross.
      I’m assuming that’s the correlation between the two that Elijah was making.

    I am in my 60s, but still fondly remember getting my first gun when I was 12. It was an old bolt action .22, made before WWII. For my 13th birthday, my Dad picked out a brand new .22 revolver for me. When I was 14, Dad took me to a gun show, where I bought a beat up, old Ruger Blackhawk .357 Magnum revolver, which I paid for with my "life savings", (I still have it nearly 50 years later). The main factor involved here was that my father, (a Federal law enforcement officer), taught me gun safety and responsibility from the very beginning. I suppose it was a very different world back then. It was quite common to see pickup trucks parked at the high school with rifles in rear window racks.

      It's math. You beat someone down, fine. A prosecutor that wants to be a a judge or a senator someday, overcharges. A simple fight for honor gets you 6 felony charges that the prosecutor will gladly plea down to one.
      Might as well kill the prick.

    • @pocketlinttreasures33
      @pocketlinttreasures33 2 роки тому +6

      Has nothing to do with math. Kids don't know how to fight anymore cuz none of them do it and everyone's ego's are too damn big to lose a fight so they come with weapons. You have to lose a few fights before you start winning them but these days everyone wants to act so tough (when most times they arent) so their pride won't let them lose. Everyone's a gangster with a gun. It's pathetic. I have FAR more respect for someone who can take that beating than I do for someone who just rolls up with a weapon. This generation is a bunch of puss!es.. too damn scared to fight one on one.
