Hey all! I’m selling some merchandise to help raise money for my transition! I recently released some new merchandise with a quote I really love from Magnus Hirschfeld on it: “Love is as varied as people are.”
I’m selling the merch through two different sites, both of which will be linked below. There are stickers, pins, and magnets which I’m selling through Redbubble - they’re available with several different LGBTQ+ flag options, although I know I haven’t covered them all so if you notice your flag missing feel free to comment it below and I’ll work on adding them in! And I’m selling shirts, sweaters, and hoodies through Teespring.
I mentioned that I’m saving money for my transition but that’s not the only thing the profits will go towards. My plan is for 80% of the profits to go towards saving for my transition, 10% towards funding the channel, and 10% to LGBTQ+ charities. I’ll leave a link to a google sheet below to show how your money is being divided for whatever product you may chose to get, as I want you all to have full transparency. I know the amount towards charities is low at the moment but I intend to increase that amount as I get closer to my goal for raising for my transition. I’m also going to be putting up a poll here each time there is a significant amount of money to donate and let you all choose from a few charities as well as suggest any you see fit!
I’m really excited about this! I was interested in ways I might be able to raise for my transition and bottom surgery through the channel, but I didn’t want to just ask people to donate as I’m aware of the influence that content creators can have and I don’t ever want that to be used to my advantage. I’m happy about this way as it allows me to give back to you all in the form of merch as well as to give back to the queer community as a whole by donating to charities and organizations. The story about the little girl learning about non-binery should be shown to all people claiming we're making kids trans.
1. her brother taught her not her mom
2. she can make connections when genders aren't mentioned
3. she understands that sex≠gender (the pokemon)
4.she was confused on pronouns at first but eventually got there on her own
5. SHES STILL A GIRL. Knowing about nb didn't suddenly make her trans!
Tiktok at around 8:00 demonstrates that LGBT+ awareness does not in fact turn your kids trans / gay / whatever. I just makes them more accepting towards themselves and others❤️

When kids learn new things, they tend to obsess over it and 'teach' everyone around them about it. This happens with animal facts, history, chores, and, yes, gender identities. :) Kids are great in their acceptance.
@@DA-BEAST I gotta tell you, I'm transgender even after all those cis-hetero media and couples. I was even against LGBTQ+ and had a lot of internalized transphobia for a short period. But still transgender 🤷♂ Nobody forced me. But that's what cis-het indoctrination and little LGBTQ+ media gets you. Well at least for me. Now I feel free from all those negative thoughts and forced shame.
The same applies to cis-people when they're exposed to LGBTQ+ media. They're not gonna turn. Did the little girl say she was non-binary after that? No.

Absolutely love these videos, and i kinda get why you keep including news about the situation with trans rights in the us, but could you maybe consider making them a bit less USA-centric? Everyone is always talking about the smallest details about the queer situation in the USA but only the very big stuff about other countries gets talked about
Oh, this would definitely be nice. I'm European, and I know more about what's happening to queer people in the USA than I know about my own country's news.
I'm in the UK and there's definitely anti trans stuff going on here. I find it easier to digest if it's reported by someone who is unambiguously pro trans so would be nice if that could be covered. It's somehow easier to read about if it's in say Pink News as opposed to a mainstream conservative paper.

8:17 Louisiana ended up passing that anti-trans bill. It was pulled from that committee, and assigned to a different one where it was pushed through. The governor has stated he will likely veto it, but republicans have a super majority and will likely override his veto, making it law. Google "Louisiana gender affirming care law". Sad times. Keep an eye out for each other this pride, y'all. Stay safe.

the tiktok at 5:29 reminds me that my state, maryland, is also likely to get "shield laws." 😃 it has passed bills protecting trans healthcare earlier this year and it was one of our current governor's campaign promises to make my state a state where trans people can be more safe. 😃😃😃

It’s just so much more fun, there is this entire community that cis/het people don’t get to experience. There is so much love and support from almost everyone in the queer community that I feel sad for those who don’t experience that.
Being a part of the community and getting to meet new people. Like, sometimes just saying you're queer gets you into some interesting friendships. I also love how I am not homophobic/transphobic Or anything like that. I love being "not straight" If that makes sense.

As for my gender queerness I would say how well I know myself. I have a very strong sense of self, and connection to my body. I love being me (it took me awhile, but I finally do). Hbu, what's your favorite part?

Some places have local queer charities that organise support and socials if you're not into bars and stuff. Also, depending on your environment, low scale peaceful protests can be a good way to meet people

I’m freaking out. Today I wrote a letter to my supportive parents that I want to start T despite them not really wanting me to. So I was freaking out all day at school and when I got home I found out they hadn’t even seen it. I don’t know what the fuck I’m supposed to do
I hope it goes well for you! Writing a letter was the way I came out to my parents since I was too scared to say it out loud. (My dads are gay and married to each other so it was really just my mom) My mom's an ally though so we all agreed that I should be put on hormone blockers, but then the ban happened and I couldn't. They even had aroace stuff and I’m aroace so it’s really nice to see stuff because you don’t fin a lot of representation of them in the media! (Ik my pfp is a lesbian that’s becuase I haven’t come out as aroace yet I told one of my friends and they said it didn’t exist. I’m not a lesbian I’m just aroace I just told people I was a lesbian a couple months ago 😅)
