Same in Chicago. They just shuffle the tent cities around based off of whatever event is going on. Lollapalooza happening at Grant Park soon? They clear out all the viaduct and grass patch tents off of Lakeshore Drive. Bunch of people coming to McCormick convention center? They clear out all the tents that usually overlook the main highway. The weasels that run this city, among others, don’t care about this problem at all, just whatever money they can embezzle from it.
@@devin6201 Here in Pittsburgh they put down giant uneven rocks and sand, and then the camp just moves across the street. Used to be only a couple intersections had homeless now its almost every light. It was never like this until the last five years. The worst administration ever coincides so it makes sense in some ways but the problem existed before and will proceed if things dont change.

I'm Bri'ish, and I live in a city with a lot of homeless.
I've met one (1) single nice guy who was a young chap with tourettes who would sit outside the local shop and make friendly conversation. He would never ask for anything but would accept gifts from the shop people would give him.
The other 100s in the city are all just awful people. They're rude, aggressive, and bully the old and weak. They get wasted in the high street and scream and scare everyone. They're skum.
I saw something similar in the city I lived in Hampshire for a couple of years, in the late afternoon/evenings during winter the town centre has huge police presence because both the homeless and doctors/engineers were always causing disturbances by stealing on mass or harassing Asian(super rich)students.
Sounds like there's a lot of untreated mental illness. Maybe it was a bad idea to ignore mental health for decades 😂

You’re not wrong but there are 100 times as many psychotic homeless in Southern California - specifically Los Angeles and probably an equal number spread out over a population of 25 million including OC, Riverside, SD, Santa Barbara and Palmdale/Lancaster. There are encampments the level as 6th and I-35 in 50+ places in L.A.

I used to travel around the country with nothing but a pack - when i visited the west coast: I noticed that the homeless there are distinctly different. I got in ALLOT of fights - and made most of my money scamming those fucking whackos by cleaning up ghosts and telling them their futures. Some of them you can just say "That van is following you, i think they want whats in your bag- give it here so they dont follow you anymore" and then you got all their stuff that easy. I'll never go to the west coast again, it can fall into the Pacific Ocean for all I care lol
I had to leave because I worked in a place frequented by these malcontents (and worse: a place they depend on getting money from, so no end of violent blowups over any-and-everything) and it was stripping me of my humanity, forcing me to walk around scanning every person on the street like the Terminator. I am suddenly way friendlier upon moving to a way smaller town away from the coast. Do it if you can unless for some reason you absolutely have to be in a major city.

I think its orchestrated to a degree "This crisis is outta control! These people give up bc they keep losing jobs and becoming homeless. Imagine losing your apt and every single thing you own at least once. It's difficult to recover unless you have family to help. The streets wreck people after a short time just like jail does.

I think he was right when talking about the guy with the ski mask when streaming with Jet or Chris "We need to create a presence" and I think if a bunch of local residents got together and made it clear to the homeless and the crazies that they weren't gonna have a good time being a bum in that area, they'd quickly move on. The problem isn’t LA letting all the homeless people exist and form camps. The problem is that LA doesn’t want to lift a finger or spend a dime putting any of these people into rehab and work programs so they can become productive members of society again.
Most of them can’t be rescued. They are using social safety nets as a hammock to sleep in. Until we start letting them go hungry and od, they will never get better, they are comfortable right where they are.

Actual poverty doesn't look like anything actual poor people do everything that they can to fade into the background of functional Working Class People.
