      Y’all gotta keep it real with yourselves. Lebron is top 2 all time bruh. Even though the Nuggets are in the finals and eliminated him to get there, HE IS THE BETTER STORY. He’s the superstar and he deserves his superstar status and treatment. So the Nuggets are in the finals, and? So what nobody on that squad is Lebron James. Denver just swept the Lakers making their first Finals appearance. Jockic is a superstar and Murray is a superstar on the rise........and the story is about Lebron ? But if he did... Sit out 1 year, "heal", be the hollywood celebrity, Work with Bronny, get him prepped best possible for upcoming draft. Another fanboy for Lebron James!
    The Truth is the Los Angeles Lakers were NO match for the Denver Nuggets, period!
    Why is he comparing NFL players with NBA players (like comparing apples & oranges)!
    They'll say anything to make Lebron James look better than all the other greats!!!
    Lebron has NOT been the best player on the basketball court for 20 out of the last 24 years, that would be in 2003!!!
    He WAS NOT better than Kobe Bryant (nor was Lebron better in that time frame, than Steph Curry, Giannis Antepoukuo, Kawahi Leonard or Damian Lillard)!!!

    In defense of LeBron, he's still performing at the highest quality and is still among the league's upper-tier echelon of players, which is amazing at his age. MJ, Magic, Bird, Wilt, none of those guys could perform at that level at that age (and yes some of them retired before even reaching that age of 38). So should LeBron retire? Personally imo NO, cuz he's still a superstar, he ain't playing like a "has been", and he's still playing better compared to when he was a rookie. Usually, the gauge of measuring when a player is in their twilight years is when their average is worse than their rookie year average. All LeBron really needs is the right team. But I hate the Lakers! Glad the Nuggets won, and rooting for them to win all the way. And 2024 will belong to the SUNS!

    • @christiannieto9827
      @christiannieto9827 Рік тому

      So youre saying Bird, Magic, MJ played under the same rules the current NBA is playing under? Just jacking up 3s, no hand check, no more hard fouls, playing at a faster pace. Please never compare this era to the rules of the 80s and 90s. Put those players in todays era, theyd be playing at an elite level into their late 30s and early 40s as well

    • @RetrieverTrainingAlone

      At age 38, LeBron played great until the 4th quarter, LeBron consistently ran out of gas in the fourth quarter in the Denver Series.
      LeBron shot a record low 1 for 22 for 3-pointers in the 4th quarter during the playoffs.
      Game 1 Denver series, 4th quarter 1 offensive rebounds, shooting 0 for 2 from 3-pointers, 1 for 4 field goals.
      Game 2 Denver series, 4th quarter 0 offensive rebounds, shooting 0 for 3 from 3-pointers, 3 for 7 field goals.
      Game 3 out of gas in 4th quarter 0 offensive rebounds, shooting 1 for 4 from 3-pointers, 2 for 6 field goals.
      Game 4 out of gas in 4th quarter 0 offensive rebounds, 0 for 1 from 3, 1 for 6 field goals, 3 points.

    • @GeenoGab
      @GeenoGab Рік тому

      I don't get your point. You're just talking about 4th quarter stats against Denver. I'm talking about Lebron's overall career till this day playing 82 games every year + playoffs. Yeah he got gassed out and so? There are players in their early 20s that average worse. That's what happens when you need to carry a team and it's even harder at an older age. But is that a con against my point? NO! Easy to talk stats from the comfort of your seat, but you're just cherry picking specific stats, I'm TALKING OVERALL CAREER TIL THIS DAY. Check his season and playoff stats. The man is averaging nearly 30 ppg and 25 ppg at 38!? Not even MJ and Wilt accomplished that at that age. Im not even a LeBron fan, I'm just being fair and objective about his game as of this day.

      @christiannieto9827 Рік тому

      @Gino Conde did you read my post above? Lebron at 38 years old playing during the 80s, 90, even 00s would not average 25ppg. This is the easiest era to score. Where's the context 🤣🤣🤣

    Only reason that was brought up was because of his horrible play in the second half and getting swept. He acted like he was playing hot potato. He couldn't get rid of the ball fast enough. And when he did get it, he was blocked by a guard and hit the side of the backboard. Horrible. But it isn't be talked about since he "hinted" at retirement.

    Lebron needs to retire so nick wright, brian windhorst, richard jefferson and draymond can take turn riding him every day

    In a later conversation with Dave McMenerman(?), LeBron said that he is still better than 95% of the players in the NBA, and that is factoring into his thoughts in the offseason. So, he DOES understand that he is not the absolute best player anymore. But he also understands that he's WAY better as an individual player than almost everybody on whatever pathetic team you haters root for.

    Everybody trippin. Why should he retire from something he loves doing. There are still huge accolades he can achieve that nobody for the foreseeable future will ever be able to attain.
    The honor and beauty of playing ball with your son is severely overlooked.
    It doesn’t matter what he says. Retirement is a real consideration, but it’s the last.

    I tell you one thing though , and this is why lebron is still the face of the nba on and off the court . After all this talk about his legacy being tainted and just getting blown out and he STILL spoke to the press after . He didn’t run off and skip if it faced it
