- This may just be our last hunt of the year. Thanks to the PineBeltRelics guys for having us dig Gopher Ridge with them. Randy and Spike struggled all day then Kenneth showed up about 1:30 and everything changed! Come along with us on another fantastic dig for the elusive arrowhead! Lived in west central Fla. N dug a dead tree out on my small 80 ft. Wide development lot. Found pottery n chips. I got the bug bad. Dug past 7ft deep n found a large point. One year n 3 months later I finished every foot of my 70 x 80 back yard. Found 11 good points loads of pottery smoking pipe a drill. Twenty six yrs. Later n I still got the bug. At 72 I now surface hunt but I still feel the thrill when you guys pull out a beauty. I'm so happy for you. Ed

Mississippi here, we had to ride this storm out working on the road in Illinois on the KY line, it tore the area up and they are still dealing with the aftermath. Keep these ppl in your prayers

You've stated that the site you're digging you think was a camp,, because of the location of the flat area in proximity of a fresh water source. That being said,, there should be at least one "spot" that was a favorite to hunt game,, more than likely near the same water source. That location would be located upwind (greatest % of the time) of the camp area, probably no more than 500 yards. Why do I say this? Because of a friend of mine that is Native American telling me so.

Love the finds as always fella’s. Its great to hear about the prayers for all the states affected by the storms. The loss of life here in Kentucky was heartbreaking to say the least, and the destruction of homes, businesses, and property is horrendous. Prayers to God are definitely needed. You asked about luck in finding artifacts. Personally, I don’t believe in luck. I believe that it’s God’s will that you find the artifacts and, it’s a gift from our creator. Thanks again.

I first saw Zac on Heartbreaker Relics and they called him The Horseshoe. I thought it was because the camera was always trained on the top of his head while digging. I thought it was the Male Pattern Baldness! Not so! He's the luckiest SOB i've ever seen dig! Love your videos!

Do you guys fill the holes you dig or come back and continue digging another day? If you were digging on my property I would hope you would have the respect to fill them up!!!
Good question. It depends on what the owner wants. On some sites they want the holes left so they'll know what's been dug. On others we fill them in. Even on sites where they want them left open we backfill as we go by setting the sifter over the last hole we dug.
