Those two Cache Rivers!!!!!!😍 What beautifully made side notches those were!! Such craftsmanship. Love the early Archaic stuff. That Quad was a show stopper too! Congrats guys! Killed it that day! Thanks for sharing
Great job Spike!! Man I’m ready to go back!! Can’t help it with these visions of Cache Rivers and Quads dancing around in my head!!! But really…..I’m just ready to hang out all day with all you fellas again!! Let’s do it again soon……how bout tomorrow??!! 🤣😜. Y’all take care buddy and we’ll see y’all soon!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Mike! It was so much fun as usual. I'm like you. I just enjoy hanging out with everybody. The points are great but they're really just lagniappe. I would love to but I have granddaughters opening day soccer games tomorrow. Good luck to yall!
I'm not even 16 and I'm ready to retire! Man you oughta know I'll be digging for points in my later days. Anyways congrats guys always love your fellowship
Congratulations on some fantastic points to add to your collections . I really think the bonds yall weave is as big if not a bigger appeal for this channel than the great points. Spike love the way you keep the spirits and energy going . You do a fantastic job explaining the situation and what’s going on. I can tell you and Randy have done this for years ; every time Randy says something you get a big deep belly laugh from him. 🤣🤣. But yeah , that Quad and the Cache River were first class dandies! That Cache river looked as thin as a gnats toe nail . 🤣
Thanks Ron. I appreciate that. Randy and I have been going back and forth with senseless banter for over twenty-five years and it never ends. So much fun.
I love this channel, very entertaining! I love to hear you guys laughing and having yourselves a ball out there in the sticks.... You guys must have yourselves a museum full of points by now😆... my goodness at the artifacts you guys have found... God bless you guy's,
Thanks so much! WE had a small get together a while back where we brought some of our collections, just some of the guys we hunt with and us. Even we were surprised at the amount of artifacts there.
That's a beautiful Cache River ! I agree , same person probably made those . I have 2 Big Sandys that I found maybe 20 feet apart and 2 years apart . They also had to be made by the same person . Great day diggin' in the dirt !
I just found 2 today in a developing neighborhood I live in. Construction folks pushed over the original dirt towards the new street and I searched there and found 2. I wonder how far radius I would be able to find them
Sweet Finds as always fellers. 😎 I've gotta buy me another hoodie now that I loaned it to an inlaw after my cousins funeral last week and they forgot to give it back before they went back to Ohio. He was in the hospital fighting Covid for couple months and he passed away. While in there his wife had their Babygirl 10 weeks early!! He never got to hold her😭 but she looks just like him and she is growing and doing fine and about to come home from the hospital....Be safe boys we never know when the Lord will call us Home. 🕊
If the same man didn’t make those Cache River points, I’m a monkeys uncle! Wow! The orb weaver spider was great! Such great spiders! I always thank them for putting the bright zig zag in the middle because I see it and avoid wrapping their glorious large web across my face! Spiders freak me out just a little bit. The orb weavers don’t give me the heebie jeebies like hairy spiders do. I kind of like them. I missed the glamor shots in this video. Good to see Kenneth made it. Randy got to come along too! 👍🏼
The Native Americans were artisan for making the points that were found on this day!!!! As our narrator, Spike has been doing a fine job keep in the smiles and laughter on every ones face!!! How's School Kenneth....... IS EVERY BODY READY FOR SANTA CLAUS??????? THE SEASON IS UPON US!!!!!!! HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!!
Been looking along the Delaware River between ny nj and pa....what should I be looking for in a dig site ? Already following streams and creeks...nothing yet !
Hey neighbors...I'm from Alabama. Me and a buddy hunt for these artifacts here in the west/central part of the state and we find most of our points within 8-10" of the surface. (most of those are woodland points) But man, you guys seem to find a lot of the bigger/older points and in different videos you're finding them almost double that depth. I see that you're finding them in this video much closer to the surface...but can you tell me, do y'all normally have as good results when digging up to 20" or so ?
Thanks for watching and for the question. As for how deep to dig, there's no standard answer. Each site is different and sometimes the artifacts are at different depths on the same site. Some of the sites have been disturbed so much and the soil has been turned every which way but up. You just have to dig until you aren't finding any debitage. Good luck.
Awesome day, guys! I've really got to get out and search over a private farm area I got permission to hunt,, not only for artifacts, but for fossils, and sharks teeth! Who knows,, maybe someday soon I'll be inviting Heartbreaker Relics, and Pine Belt Relics, to join me in a compilation video!
I'm just an ole Alabama boy, but to not even know these "questionable characters" 😄 and offer to possibly bring them up there, that's mighty generous! 👍 Hope it comes through for you-Good luck!
All you can do is ask. If you find a place that interests you, when you ask for permission make sure they know you are a serious seasoned hunter/collector and you have respect for their property and nature as a whole.
Approximately how long does it take for a skilled knapper to make a point? It occurred to me while watching that the native americans must have spent thousands of hours making points for y’all to find so many.
I'm not sure but I would think they could knock one out pretty quickly. The thing to remember is how long the ancient people lived here before European contact and how many of them lived and died over that period. With probably thousands or even millions of points being made every day for over sixteen thousand years it adds up.
Have yal ever found a Arrowhead made out of quarts crystal rock? I'm not sure if that's exactly what it's called but usually we just find chunks of it but a couple weeks ago I found a hole rock made out of that crystal
Those two Cache Rivers!!!!!!😍 What beautifully made side notches those were!! Such craftsmanship. Love the early Archaic stuff. That Quad was a show stopper too! Congrats guys! Killed it that day! Thanks for sharing
Thanks! Points like those certainly don't show up often down here. Continued good luck to yall up there.

Man y’all found a mess of great points and really old ones at that! Excellent vid Spike!
Thanks Jeff. It was a good day for sure.
Man! Talk about fine!
& the 2 together- looks like not only from the same craftsman, but maybe from the same mother stone!
Good point. The material does seem to be exactly the same.

Awesome! Congratulations! The size of the site can vary. My advice would be to look until you no longer see any debitage.

Yeah, some of them are kinda shady lol.
Amazing!!! 😃🤗❤️
Thank you!! 😁
Great hunting right there!
Thanks.
Any tips on how you get permission to do all the digging you do. I am lucky if I can hunt somebody's field.
All you can do is ask. If you find a place that interests you, when you ask for permission make sure they know you are a serious seasoned hunter/collector and you have respect for their property and nature as a whole.

Was this in southeast or southwest La. Randy said both, so I wasn't sure.
Southeast.
How do you know where to look? I’m interested in getting started looking for points.
Have yal ever found a Arrowhead made out of quarts crystal rock? I'm not sure if that's exactly what it's called but usually we just find chunks of it but a couple weeks ago I found a hole rock made out of that crystal
We haven't but we've see several that have been found by friends.
Can you do a quick video that shoes how your sifter is made and show measurements and such?
We have one. Here is the link. ua-cam.com/video/IMv0TpZKqSc/v-deo.html
Yall ever search for anything around New Augusta MS?
As a matter of fact we have.
I know you fellas in the headhunting community are close. Has Nelson from Seneca Relics passed? If so, what a shame.
We have no idea. We haven't heard anything. If you get some news please let us know. Thanks.
Do you all have videos on how to pick your areas to dig?
I think this will help you. ua-cam.com/video/81_Oy_L3ejc/v-deo.html
Nice!
Thanks!
Awesomeness
Thanks Tim!
I found a good one 2 days ago. I have had a killer year
Congratulations!
Heartbreaker Relics you guys are a big inspiration to me.
I can’t believe out of all you guys, you all never have a working sprayer!
We wear them out! lol
New to your channel. How do you know where to dig?
Glad you found us. This video should answer your question. ua-cam.com/video/81_Oy_L3ejc/v-deo.html
They’re destroying a Native American mound in Graham North Carolina guys. We need help.
They built a house on one here on the coast. If it's on private land there's not much we can do about it.
Made by same person i agree!
Thanks.
I got something to show y'all I wish I knew how
ок
Thanks!
i am first :-)
Thanks!
