Ich kann mich an dieser wundervollen Musik nicht satthören. Ich habe ihn diese Jahr das erste mal auf einem Konzert in Duisburg gehört und er hat mich in Trance versetzt. Unglaublich
He's one of the best there'll ever be, let's appreciate him while we all can in beautiful symbiosis and thank the the universe that we were all alive when this genius was. I can't even count the amount of unbelievably profound nights and moments I have had absorbing this man's creations. My musical hero... That one musician that I just totally get and can see into his mind 🙏
this is him, that's his soul, being poured through sound, you can feel every fibre and particle of his being coming through in that second track; fucking insanely profound
Agreed! I sadly didn't discover Nils Frahm until a month or two ago but I'm so grateful that UA-cam led me to him, it was fate without a doubt. First time I listened to All Melody there were nonstop uncontrollable tears while I listened on repeat for about 4 hours at work. 🥲 He truly is a genius and I hope one day I can perfect my piano playing and create music that makes people feel all the feels like Nils'.🙏 🎶🙏🎶🥰🎶🙏🎶🙏
I always forget what the appeal of Nils is until I'm deep in the grips of the trance-like crescendo. So unique. I've been listening for about 8 years and it's like the first time every time
I would be excactly like those guys - standing still with closed eyes, experiencing a completely different universe. Nils Frahm is just such an amazing artist.. incredible..
Watch the Movie "Victoria" ... I am still overwhelmed. About the Movie and of course the Soundtrack by Nils. Just ... Brilliant! Cameraman is also a Genius. Thanks 4 sharing this with us Boiler Room !!!
Am I going to to be the first one to say how god-like that performance of Says was? Like holy crap, I've listen to it a thousand times now, still gets my head bobbing.
+pete921 yeah ! but for me i will put Nils Frahm on the piano with Oraful Arnalds , david august on the synths with ten walls (for his elephant synth), bonobo on the beats, thom yoke on the vocal and some adrenaline for my heart
Pas besoin de drogue pour faire un incroyable voyage. Juste fermer les yeux et laisser les phénomènes apparaître. No need drug to take an amazing trip. Just close your eyes and let it be.
Nils, thank you! For years I’ve searched for contemporary music the equal of Bill Evans, Miles Davis, and Mahavishnu Orchestra. Your’e the only one I’ve found who can match their musical brilliance and creativity- ten bravos!
A work of art and the best boiler room session out there. I've made a habit of listening to this every year. Glad to have been able to witness this musical genius in my lifetime.
All melody, the best version/song I’ve ever heard So incredible to see him live through it, carrying all the way through the song, please release a version of this song so I can listen to it forever 😢
When i first heard him at the British Proms, thought I must of died and gone to Heaven!!!Absolutely amazing watching him get so submerged in what he is creating.
it is unbelievable that a man can make it. In 2013/2014 tour to Spaces, creating a turning Solo, the subsequent tour for this album, which is an alternative to the album + upgrade of previous tracks, preceded by another pimped tour, which I just discovered ... WOW
since now some hours I want to leave my Flat, but I can´t stop listening and watch the intense way you makeing music... Nils- thanks fpr that, please come to Hamburg/germany for a concert, please...
Niels Kooiman I think that's the true beauty of this guy's live performances. They have a similar structure, but always seem like a glorious improvisation
@@radio-friendlyunitshifter4670 In an interview I recall him saying he made slight alterations to the songs each time he plays them to suit how he is feeling and how he senses the venue and the audience to be. And also that he is always seeking to improve and build upon his songs. Really just class.
I've been to see him live a few times and it never sounded the same! He said at his last concert he was just striving to make a better Says always as it is his most popular song but also the easiest one to play.
Agree, best I’ve heard so far, and it’s amazingly astonishing how fatiguing playing piano like that could be, my forearms hurts just thinking about it.
ok.... its 2019 .... I have started listening to Loscil and Suzanne Chiani and this is friggin AWESOME.... so physical as well as creative ... will investigate Nils more
The thing is you can never come and hear like 5 minutes of him. You end up listening to his whole set. You get hooked and can't stop.
100% lol
Because you literally can't listen to 5 because it's the journey that makes his tunes.
Weird, I just did that. Well, it was more like 3,5 minutes.
hooked as well! 🎉
True Story 😂
Nils Frahm doesn't just play music. He's giving it birth. Beautiful beyond words.
Love that! ♥️
I got some advice from a UA-cam comment last year: "Go and see Nils Frahm live".
It was excellent advice so I'm passing it on.
I am from the year 2065 we still love this music.
Does he know he's a genius?
What an amazing artist. My god. How lucky we are to have him.
I've told my daughter I want "says" played at my funeral. Most beautiful song I've ever heard.
When he starts to sweat you feels with him the music and knows that he is giving all that he got for the performance. Such great artist.
Genius...Absolute Genius
Same thought
One of the most beautiful 43 minutes i ve ever heard
100%
Try Conor Walsh from the West of Ireland. Only has 4 songs on soundcloud and 1 on youtube but i promise you will not be disappointed.
so true!!
Thanks !
yes indeed

The duality of existence, captured perfectly
5 years later this set still takes me to another dimension
Same thing happened to me
Speaks to my soul. The kind of music that gives me goosebumps and tears.
All Melody and A Place will forever be my spirit songs. I feel them deep deep.

Me encanta ver que sigue habiendo verdaderos fans de la llamada Escuela de Berlín. Saludos!
The power of his music is almost magical. Says is one off my favorite songs. And it is for me a very very special track.
Even his voice make me shiver. A real musician, an interpreter, a poet... Can listen to him untiringly

Clive Renald amazing really. Probably one of the my top 5 nights of 2014.

All melody, the best version/song I’ve ever heard

When i first heard him at the British Proms, thought I must of died and gone to Heaven!!!Absolutely amazing watching him get so submerged in what he is creating.
what kind of proms do you have in the UK?! Here in the states they always play horrible music at proms.
100% this
God I love him. He's such an amazing musician.
I feel with you Nils.

nils is the piano master... awesome work
I've listened to multiple live versions of 'Says' but not even a single one sounded the same.
Niels Kooiman I think that's the true beauty of this guy's live performances. They have a similar structure, but always seem like a glorious improvisation

'Says' starts at 5:20

I've never felt so moved during a concert before when I saw him at the Roundhouse last week. Thank you Nils, you're an incredible talent.
MrSamafia So true! I saw 4 people crying during a really intense version of Says at his Chicago show. I was definitely choked up.
I love the build up, you are an inspiration Nils !
Sensationell. Ich ziehe meinen Hut.
A little James Holden-esque at times. And that's not a bad thing. This guy is great.
WOW is so Spectacular the way he play the piano !!!!!!!
