The journey is finishing up nicely. Looking forward to your adventure at the DMV getting inspected and registered. An aside... Did your transmission come with a gear shift arm, and did you have any difficulty centering the steering wheel for "straight ahead"?
Wild_BluYonder, Thanks, yep, it's I have a clear vision of the light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, my transmission came with a shift arm. I ordered a complete engine/trans from Mike Forte and he, as promised, delivered everything from soup to nuts. I lined up the front wheel using a couple pieces of angle iron that I placed parallel to the car. I then straightened the wheel and took note of what direction things needed to be adjusted. Its close, but not perfect. This weekend, I'm going to do a rough alignment so I can limp it to my local Ford dealer who has agreed to do the alignment provided I bring ramps to get the car onto his rack. (making the racks this week). They just snickered when I told them it had 4.5" of ground clearance :)
So impressed. Amazing to be on your team in the day gig. Your attention to detail inspires me.
Thanks!!!
Outstanding pal!
Thanks!! It’s getting there! Putting the interior in tomorrow, can’t wait to see what it looks like all done!
