One of my favorite UA-cam Channels is your ranch! I love not only the beautiful livestock but i also love how the entire family pulls together to make it work! You folks are living the dream as far as I'm concerned, lots of work I know but it looks so fulfilling! And the way you and Danielle tell the story is wonderful, wind or no wind! ;)

Whew Jerry you and your ranch took great care of those Wagyus 🐮🤩! I've had American Wagyu beef and it was delicious - juicy, tender and flavorful👍 Your beautiful sleek mares 🐎 with their adorable foals 🥰 are also looking fantastic

Should be an interesting cross with the Wagyu and other breed of cows. The horses look great. The Wagyu cattle look good, healthy and delicious.

Do the breeding mares that live in the pasture ever get tame enough you can walk up and pat them?

Most are broke to ride. They all get rubbed on a few times a year. Trimmed etc.

I thought your supposed to be massaging the Wagyu Cattle?

    • @jheartquarterhorsesaz

It is not a requirement. It is not universally done. They have done it for cramping and arthritis. Also in colder climates. No we do not.

Big thank you for starting the beef of the future. Wagyu have more protein than other cattle.

You have some lovely quality mares and good cattle too . Do old broodmares go for meat eventually.

No they normally just die out here or get used by someone for a kids horse.

I've never had wagyu steak !! But I've heard there's no comparison!! Be interested to how the quality is when you process one for the family.

I know next to nothing about cows Jerry, but you said they were a little rough when you purchased them, I questioned why you bought them 🤔 cause I thought they looked dang near deaths door, emaciated! But now.... WOW, they are FAT and very healthy, nice job Jerry they now look great?? Love and Blessings to all at the PDR ❤️🙌 Jennifer

Dam, 22 yr old cows. That's some aged hamburger mince right their. City yuppies would pay a fortune for all that aged flavour, funny but true. Even old dairy cattle are attracting a premium on those grounds, city people?
