The only things is with this and I get that's it's for fun and I get that but doesn't the speed mostly just depend on the fly/spider/ect. Because if they just mess around and it doesn't hit enough trigger hairs then it goes off slower
The speed of closure is related to plant genetics, health, trap age and weather conditions. As long as the trigger hairs are triggered twice within 20 seconds of eachother, the trap will close. And the speed determined by everything I mentioned :)
Now that was something to watch. I must admit I had fun watching it. Glad to see you posting UA-cam vids again. The greenhouse looks great, you have a lot of beautiful plants in there.
The way you narrate and edit those videos is amazing and makes those plants actually interesting!! I love the way you add the sound effects as well! Just earned yourself a new subscriber :D

Thank you! For the naming of the plants, they are cultivars and that is what the plant is named and registered as. I didn't make the names up (except for Red, he is a typical and doesn't have a name so I made one up just for him so I had a character name to talk about)

I work at a grain bin silo and there's tons of flies in the soybean. 8 bought yhe one that ate the spider man it ended up getting to chilly outside and it didn't do anything. I put him in the truck in the sun with hella flies it didn't eat anything, so I gave him to a coworker he still has it

I tired REALLY everything and now i have a littel one idk the name in englisch but it is the small stickey one and i tryed this time when it was out of Engery with my blood and my qustion is is it good for the plant or not?
I missed the part where you cut off your finger to feed to the winner. I was waiting for that part 😜 I enjoy watching these magnificent plants and really enjoy watching them perform naturally. To many people want to hand feed them and that isn’t exciting at all, especially when you disable the food so that there is no chance of failure.

I’ve noticed my flytraps growing deformed. I think it’s from spider mites so I’ve sprayed them with some insecticide. How often should I spray them? Also I spray them with Maxsea fertilizer, how often should I spray?

You put more character development in this video than most recent movies I’ve seen
