Awesome! Just be aware that it's always smart to have your rental agreement in writing, just in case something unthinkable happens, your security will be preserved.

I love it! Not having a huge mortgage, or to have to live in an apartment, wasting money is very smart. You are so fortunate to have that beautiful land to garden, have chickens and your kiddies and to be a stay at home mom! Having your parents nearby is a blessing and very good for your children. Don't buy a big house, just add on to your sweet home when you are ready. You have a great life! This a great way to live debt free. When you get your own land and build your forever home, perhaps you can design everything so you have another tiny home that can bring in an income and then as your children are transitioning to leave they can use it. Eventually, you can move into it at retirement and rent out the big house for income. I know a lot of people want their privacy, but how you design the property layout and landscaping can still allow privacy. It’s always good to have multiple streams of income. Nice job decorating!
I love tiny. I am 59, so I already live debt free. We've raised our 3 kids in a 1400 SF fixer home that we bought 18 years ago, but this year my husband and I will be moving into a 400 SF park model log cabin in a small RV park that we own. We collected a lot of stuff over the years raising our kids, and I am so looking forward to downsizing to having much less stuff. I am adding a lot of built in storage to both of the bedrooms in the cabin and it already has a lot of kitchen storage, so that it is a tiny home with a megaton of storage. Between that and a 200 SF outbuilding for tools and a deep freezer, we should be able to keep it very uncluttered. I lived in a small RV with my husband when I went to college, and I loved it. Having less is freedom. Stuff is work. It's going to be so much easier to keep my 400 SF home clean and maintained than my 1400 SF home. I had to have a bigger home for my kids in the cold climate we live in, but now that they are grown, I am so looking forward to living tiny again.
I would live in this house in a heartbeat. I love the way you use the space. It does not look small at all. Very nice layout. Use some baskets similar to the one with hubby's shoes under the coffee table. That will add some extra storage space.

Wow! ❤ You’ve done a great job! Love everything. The doors are beautiful. Love your garden and also that you’re right near your parents. I no longer have my parents but would’ve loved to be so close to them ❤
That space looked lovely! I have limited mobility thanks to arthritis and a stroke. My husband is about to retire from working on a research ag facility. I spent years teaching, scout leading, newspaper reporting, etc., but now I crochet and play at being grandma. We have been married almost 50 years but we turned over most of our bigger items to the kids. We would love to live in a space only slightly bigger than this to allow for our needs, but more could pose more work for 2 older folks with limited mobility and resources. Space outside for gardening and for grandkids to play is all we need for space and a storage area for a select collection of yarn for my crochet habit would keep me happy. We don’t want to put lots of money in a home at this point, just basic comfort and needs.
I'm sorry to hear of your health struggles. I definitely think tiny homes are easier upkeep than larger homes for sure. If I could do it all over I'd do my best to make this house ADA compliant. 🩷
I am absolutely in love with your tiny home, both inside and out! You and your husband did an incredible job. I never imagined a tiny shed could be transformed into such a cozy living space. I’m seriously considering this as an option for my first home. The only thing I would do differently is purchase two or three sheds, depending on my budget, to create a larger space for my fur babies and me. I already have land to place them on. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful tiny home! 🥰
I live in tiny home aka travel trailer. Your home is lovely great use of space❤ I love the Goodwill bins it's like a big treasure hunt with awesome finds 😍
Everything looks so cute and I love that you included a laundry area. It bothers me so badly when I see tiny homes without the necessities. Your style of decorating and storage is so nice. I need to rewatch your video to help organize my own home :)
I'm getting ready to live basically in a shed that is going to be home for me and my little dog Sadie of 14 yrs. I'm wondering how on earth I'm going to have cabinets and everything else it's going to take to make this a tiny house. I'll make it home no matter where I'm at. I need suggestions because what's going to be left after paying for the shed each month and the lot rent, I'll not have very much left for supplies. I'm nervous about this bc I've been surviving. Living I need at my age of sixty.
I love it! I live in an apartment at this time but my goal is to have a small house. Since I live in Florida and we get many hurricanes a year, i am waiting to get a concrete house. You have done a great job of decorating your beautiful little house! I also love all the space outside. Best wishes to you! 🥰
Getting ready to rent to own my shell that will be delivered to a lot that I rent from a family member. Any suggestions on how I can make it a home with next to nothing with what's left out of my social security? My shell will be insulated and the electrica😢 package. Omgosh I'm wondering how on earth I'm going to have cabinets and the bathroom 😮😅😢. But it'll be shelter for me and my little dog Sadie.
Your house is super cute. Someday when you have your big house you will look back and you will miss your tiny house. I love it. I also love that garden space and the chicken house.
Thanks for your tour, Lacey. Great job. One suggestion that worked for me: put an under-sink filter on your kitchen sink cold water. It is not expensive or difficult to do and you get rid of those unsightly bottles AND help the environment. I live in Montana, so I totally get the country art of livestock and wildlife. Maybe you will just want to add a new section to make your “big” house; you could add a bedroom and utility room with access where the current stacking w/d is now. Just a thought, or maybe even a stop-gap until you actually need more than two bedrooms. Good job!!
Thanks for Sharing your living space. I love the tiny home! I would totally live in a tiny home to be debt free and just have my own little unique space. I love it! Thanks again 😊
Love your space, would totally live there! I have a four bedroom, two bath, old farmhouse with property, completely debt free. Wonder how I'll keep it up as I get older, but love being debt free and not living in town!!
I am 65 and have lived in many types of homes over the years. I love your garden and I love the design of your home. I’d say it looks like you have all the room you need until your family grows. In addition, you could add outside storage along your outer walls that would give you plenty more storage as well. The first thing I would build would be a screened I. Pie keep// pantry right off the deck. I applaud your lovely home and you letting your husband use the room as “his place” to show some of his style-nice sharing! Keep on majoring on the majors!
Love UR tiny house! Y’all did a GR8 job & I love the farmhouse vibe! My husband & I are empty nesters. He retired last year & me next year, so we really want to sell our current home & buy 3-5 acres & do a shed-2-house conversion. So ready to get completely out of debt for our retirement years! Big isn’t better, I find that we’ve just accumulated a lot of stuff in our home of 40 years. I think the smaller space would help me to make more purposeful purchases instead of impulse buying. Plus, less to clean, win, win! Enjoyed the video! 😊
Nice place, and the stove doesn't look bad at all! You can just get replacement catch trays for around each burner coil, and you can even get them in black, which looks really sharp!
Hi Lacey, thank you so much for sharing your home. I love the tiny house setup. I am 66 years old and retired. It is a great possibility to purchase land and have a couple of small homes on the property. I love your narrative of your space, it did help to cement my idea to buy land and tiny homes soon.
Love your charming home! The outside looks a shed but the inside looks like a beautiful cottage! You guys did a great job with furniture placement and design! Thank you for sharing!
That is a very cute tiny home!!! It has everything you need! 🎉 when I moved from a 1900 sq ft house into a 976 sq ft house I thought I went tiny!!! 🎉 My other furniture was large and I had to get rid of most of it. I kept the queen sleigh bed, but now i am ready to sell it and get a white platform bed in there. 🎉 all the decor is beachy and it is a cute home. I call it a Beach Bungalow! 🎉 🌴🌴🌴🌊🌊🌊💙💙🌊🌴🥰

I would definitely live in this tiny house. We have the “bigger house,” but we also have a family farm not too far away without a house. A smaller place like this would be perfect to hang out in, take a shower and cook a lunch. Your decor is spot on. Good use of space.
I had that same stackable washer and dryer in our 1st home together. 577 sq ft condo in a major city. Worked absolutely perfect, no complaints! You have to be creative and flexible in small spaces🥰. All that aside, I still miss that living space! It was super cozy and serene for me. In my case, it was not cost effective though😔.. Major city, so our rent in that space was very elevated❤
I call our 650 sq ft trailer our tiny house. Our two grandsons and their mom (our youngest) live in it with us. Luckily there are three bedrooms although they are quite small. Finding ways to save space and storage are always a work in progress around here. But I always say that we don't have a lot of money but what we do have is a lot of love. Our grandsons are still young and they have everything that their school friends have minus a huge beautiful home lol. But anyhoo....I was wondering....did I miss where you are keeping your clothes? Btw...I was recommended this video via the algorithm and really enjoyed your little home tour. You have done a great job decorating and it looks lovely!
Thank you! Our previous home was about 800 Sq Ft as well and we had a large portion of it that went unused as well. I think that's why it was easier to downsize for us. 🩷
Your tiny home is so lovely. You have good decorating taste. I love to save money and when you mentioned that you need a new range because of the rings around the burners I thought, oh, just buy new rings. you can also buy new burners if you like. So much cheaper than buying a new range. 😉
I've gone so far as to paint a stove and fridge before. I got them free on marketplace and spent $100 on the right kind of paint. And they lasted me a good 8-10yrs
Your little home is absolutely beautiful! I really love it! You decorated it so awesome! It would be great to have a smaller little home like that, but I'm six foot tall, so that is why it would not work! I'd feel like I was in a tin can!! But it works great for you and your family! I love all of all your knickknacks! I like all of them! Your garden, oh my goodness, your garden is really nice and I bet the food is great too! A big house may not be in the works yet, but I think on down the line, you'll have your bigger house! For sure! You can have a bigger house, but maybe not so big! Maybe a house with a loft! You have great ideas, so I think you will eventually have your bigger house!! You take care! I'm going to check back every now and then to see how you all are doing. We live in Oklahoma so we are definitely country people!! Lol
Simply adorable! My favs are your kitchen, the lovely armoire and the wisdom you have in bargain shopping & living debt-free. Love me some TEMU, too! Wow! ❤ You’ve done a great job! Love everything. The doors are beautiful. Love your garden and also that you’re right near your parents. I no longer have my parents but would’ve loved to be so close to them ❤
Ahhhhhh! What a cute tiny house! I want one! ❤️🏡❤️🏡❤️🏡
I also peeped the dollar tree cleaner in the milk crate in your bathroom....I love that cleaner it works well and has a natural pleasant smell!
@@Gemini1-j9g praying for you to get exactly what your heart desires.
Love ❤ your tiny home. You've decorated and arranged beautifully.
I love your home! 🏠 I could definitely live in a place like this! Love the milk glass lamp and how you decorated! I would skimp on space for freedom!
Hi Lacey I've just watched your tiny home tour it's beautiful and very beautifully decorated love it
I just bought a little over an acre, with a Tiny shell. Here's to new beginnings. ❤
Great video. You're very upbeat and much fun to watch and listen to.
This is my 1st visit to your page.
Glad I found you.
😊
It looks great! Really cozy, but you do a great job with your space and making every space practical count. It looks really nice! :)
Hi Lacey 🙋♀️ 2nd time watching your video❤😊 Beautiful tiny home 🏡 Thanks for sharing ❤😊
Omg. I have never wanted to be a cat in my next life more than this moment looking at that precious kitty sleeping so soundly on that chair. 😌
Your house is super cute. Someday when you have your big house you will look back and you will miss your tiny house. I love it. I also love that garden space and the chicken house.
Kitty in the corner looked like a painting. A big basket under the clock could also store blankets or pillows. 😊
Good job!!
Love it!!!!! Love your cat too!!!
I love it! I’m doing research on building my own tiny house out of a storage shed. Thanks for sharing.
You can pick up extra storage under your cabinets by putting a drawer in, in place of the toe kick. Great job!!!
My husband made rolling drawers for my pantry, and that was such a great help, because the pantry was so deep I couldn’t see what was back there.
Thanks for Sharing your living space. I love the tiny home! I would totally live in a tiny home to be debt free and just have my own little unique space. I love it! Thanks again 😊
You have done a beautiful job of decorating . Such a clean incluttered space . Couldn't be better .
You're too kind! Thank you! ☺️
Order black burner trays for the stove…. Just swapped my mom’s out and her stove looks 100% better. Love love your home!
You’re the first person I’ve heard say that you enjoy room temperature water! Me too!! Your lil house is lovely!! This is what I need, for sure!
Your house is so pretty. You did a great job of decorating. I like how you let hubby have his space.
Love your space, would totally live there! I have a four bedroom, two bath, old farmhouse with property, completely debt free. Wonder how I'll keep it up as I get older, but love being debt free and not living in town!!
We're 75 & 69 and can't imagine being "townies". Live in a 2/1 - 900 sq ft house.
Everything looks so nice and cozy. You did a great job!
Thank you so much. That's super kind of you! 😊
I went from a 3 bedroom to a 1bedroom cottage, yes always looking for cabinets and tables with drawers and shelves for storage.
Storage is the name of the game! 😂
Nice place, and the stove doesn't look bad at all! You can just get replacement catch trays for around each burner coil, and you can even get them in black, which looks really sharp!
What a lovely home. Also good use of space. Very practical.
Thank you so much 🩷
Your orange benevolent overlord looks pleased with his velvet throne. 💙
That is a very cute tiny home!!! It has everything you need! 🎉 when I moved from a 1900 sq ft house into a 976 sq ft house I thought I went tiny!!! 🎉
My other furniture was large and I had to get rid of most of it. I kept the queen sleigh bed, but now i am ready to sell it and get a white platform bed in there. 🎉 all the decor is beachy and it is a cute home. I call it a Beach Bungalow! 🎉 🌴🌴🌴🌊🌊🌊💙💙🌊🌴🥰
Love it! A white platform bed would look perfect with your beachy decor! I love the coastal look 🩵
♥️…I LOVE YOUR HOME…… I LOVE HOW YOU MADE ROOM FOR EVERYTHING AND YOU EVEN HAVE A WASHER AND DRYER……… LOVE YOUR GARDEN AREA ALSO ……GREAT JOB…… HAPPINESS TO YOU… 🌻
This is such a cute little space! I’m planning to build a tiny home or either make a shed into a home! Very exciting! I love the kitchen area and how you have everything set up. ☺️
Thank you so much!
How exciting to be planning a build! We planned for years before we actually did it and I know how excited you are. 🩷
Nice for the size...good luck on bigger house 🙏🏾
CK out ULrich sheds or log cabins in Texas.
Great design and resources! That armoire is incredible! Very adorable little place and extra fun features! P.S. Succulents are the best plants. Low low maintenance!!
This is the most perfect tiny house I have ever seen .it is just what I've been looking for.thank you for your time and God bless.
Thank you so much 🩷
I live in a tiny home on wheels with similar spacing. Love your home!
I agree. The blankets on top of the armoire is very cozy.
I love your house its organized. Ours is also a tiny home and I love it. Its how things are organize that matters and be a minimalist
I would definitely live in this tiny house. We have the “bigger house,” but we also have a family farm not too far away without a house. A smaller place like this would be perfect to hang out in, take a shower and cook a lunch. Your decor is spot on. Good use of space.
Love your cute home, nicely decorated with every comfort!
Very cute!! The big trick to living tiny, is to make the space work for you! Looks like you nailed it! I absolutely LOVE your garden area too❤❤😢
Thank you so much! The garden is my favorite space 🩷
I have found that so many great memories are made in close spaces 🩷
So glad you enjoyed the tour 🩷 I keep my clothes in the armoire next to our TV.
@@lovelaceyxo 🥰
I too wondered about HER clothes & thought must've blinked & missed it.
@@lovelaceyxo...the armoire holds ALL your clothes, shoes & such? Wow! Cool!
This place is so cute and functional!
I could live there. My house now is only 816 sq. feet and i dont use all of it except to store some stuff. Your house is very cute.
Thank you! Our previous home was about 800 Sq Ft as well and we had a large portion of it that went unused as well. I think that's why it was easier to downsize for us. 🩷
I LIKE your little house!! As a single older adult, this would be a perfect size…. With one small drawback… no room for my piano 😊. Nicely done!
That place looks amazing. I would definitely live there. You have everything that you need and best of all free.
Hello Laçey, it was nice of you to give us a tiny house home tour.
I love your place! I am dreaming of living small and becoming debt free. You and your husband are an inspiration.
You have a great eye for aesthetics. Amazing! ❤
It’s a beautiful tiny HOME!!! Yes I would live there. It has everything you need and the freedom to do what you like.
Thank you ☺️
Primer and paint under the eaves will save the overhang from rot and mold.
Your tiny home is so lovely. You have good decorating taste. I love to save money and when you mentioned that you need a new range because of the rings around the burners I thought, oh, just buy new rings. you can also buy new burners if you like. So much cheaper than buying a new range. 😉
Oh yeah I'm gonna hold on to this old one as long as possible! 😊
Lol
Neat idea, to use a shed as a tiny home. It's got all you need. It's huge for a shed!
I love your home. What a great place. Everything needed is right there! Beautifully decorated too.
Simply adorable! My favs are your kitchen, the lovely armoire and the wisdom you have in bargain shopping & living debt-free. Love me some TEMU, too! Nope, you're not weird about having a preference for room temp water; that's my preference as well. Thanks for sharing your cute home & I pray your wish to have a larger home comes true. God bless!
Thank you for your sweet words! 💗
@@lovelaceyxo You're very welcome. Oh, and I love the wreaths and front door also.
Wow I just love your tiny house.
