8 Tricks to Teach your Beagle Puppy First

- Adorable 2 month old beagle puppy doing training on 8 dog tricks - sit, stay, speak, paw, down, up, come, and roll over.
A flashback to Smudge at 2 months old going through some beagle puppy training using food/treats and a clicker for positive reinforcement when she attempted the action asked of her. The spoken command is accompanied often by a hand signal and guided by a treat/food in the hand. These were the first eight tricks or dog commands that Smudge learnt.
Sit, Stay, and Come are important for the safety of your puppy.
Down and Up are also extremely useful in many situations. Down for using in getting your puppy to stay for a prolonged time such as waiting outside a shop or in a busy public area. Up is a great aid for grooming and vet appointments.
Speak, Paw and Roll over are just a lot of fun and great bonding time with your beagle puppy!
When she is asked to speak, hear her gorgeous little high-pitched baby puppy bark!
She was so smart that little! But it helps a lot that her human is nice to her and then she's not afraid at all and she listen. 🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤

Yes, her tummy is so cute with the roll isn't it! The "Bang" trick sounds fun to do as well. I haven't taught her to "spin" but that also looks like a good one, just for fun.

Speak and Roll are fun, but of course the other commands are much more important. It was good fun teaching her them though, just to spend time with her. 💙🐾

Yes, the tiny puppy stage goes far too fast! We love having these wonderful videos for remembering and also helping other people who are getting new puppies. We went to puppy classes and (of course) watched LOADS of UA-cam videos on training puppies too. Such a precious time. 💙🐾
