he's thinking about tuning it but he doesn't want to tarnish the driving feel of the car since he feels that mclaren got the perfect amount of hp for the car and it feels great to drive. Which is understandable and unlike most supercars it's actually a tough choice on whether or not you want more power.

In my 12c there is a "spinning wheel pull away" mode. Essentially you turn off ESC, depress the brake pedal fully, release and quickly jam the accelerator to the floor. The effect is a rolling burnout. Maybe it's just a Super Series thing, but worth a try.

If you have electronic brake force distribution, you might be able to program the car to have a line lock function where it locks the front wheels for a burnout with the touch of a button.
Does everyone use sticky tires or street tires r welcome as well on the dragstrip?

What do you think of tire warmers? Are they impractical as you are always rolling and not pitting for a significant time? Just wondering. Drag racing isn't my thing. Is there an outside the box solution?

My only guess is that it has some type of limited slip differential which doesn't allow you to spin both wheels when attempting a burnout
If you can gain access to the MDS try Dyno mode for the 600LT, it’s similar to the dyno mode in diagnostics on AMG.

Parker tested his 600 not too long ago. The results were better than great. His sister beat him at the track! Ouch!
Regarding the "burnout problem": The VF-Engineering guy pointed out that he couldn't dyno the 600LT on a 2WD-dyno bc of some electronic failsafe measure of the car, so he dyno'd it on a 4WD-dyno. This must be the same problem.
1. Lightning does not have the same motor as the first gen GT. 2. That’s a promod not a stock car. Stock cars go in circles
the window features is what makes that G unique :)
Parker as soon as you said that you cannot do a burnout I remembered a video Shmee did on his 675lt. It had special mode to do burnout, specifically for drag.
Maybe try to find out if the 600lt has it.

There is only one way to Make burnouts with McLaren. With 570S have had same problem, but If you take the fuse off you can do burnouts. That's maybe one change to do that.

Bring a wheel cover thingy and a hairdryer to warm the wheels bruh... maybe u need 2 hairdryers, one for each wheel. Should work, it did wonders for a guy I know back in 05 or 06 with his SRT10 RAM.
