Here's how I built a real working Yondu Arrow from Marvel movie Guardians Of The Galaxy. I tried several methods to get this to work, from RC arrow fins, to paper planes to drones. I eventually made it work and also wrote a program that lets the user control the arrow with the pitch of their whistle, just like Yondu does in the movies.

This is just an idea I just thought of for a computer input you could always mimic if the arrows moves with a whistle but I always wonder why other engineers haven’t tried slight hand movement, I’ve seen drones, rc cars and more being controlled by hand movement in a glove so I just wanted to share that would be a cool idea not only that but for a iron man suit as well

I think that you definitely still could make to fly with more directions then just forward and backward, you could code it to where a note makes it go in a specific direction, for instance, C could be forward, D could be backwards, E could rotate it right, F could rotate it left and so on, you could control it with a keyboard until you learn how to whistle the right pitches, and if you can’t learn how to whistle the right pitches you could find someone who can, or you could sing to control it

Really impressed by this disign. I was thinking about how you could make it more destructive without the sheer power it would need to go through something thicker and I landed on really high heat on the tip. Weather you should make it more destructive is another matter.

Given that Yondu’s fin canonically let’s him control his arrow, maybe you could place a gyroscope in a fin on your head to better control it by the movement of your head. The whistling could control the thrust of the arrow and how high it lifts off the ground, and the movement of your head would control whether it moved left or right. Also, a fin would be a discreet place to hide a microphone that connects to the drone program.

Wow it turned out really nice. I think if you would take it to the extreme with high end tech and engeeniering it could move in a way really simmilar to that from the movie. I would add a proppeller in the back so it could move without tilting.

@@jacobrutzke691 If it can handle two categories by an untrained whistler, then he should be able to further subdivide whistle sounds into more distinct commands for someone who has better control over their whistling sound and tone. In theory, it should work.
@@ShayerSUtsho just split it I to three frequency ranges and skip backwards completely. Then the middle frequency is directly forward, while high and low bank left or right. Were still missing power control through.
@@adamdraeger2605 It doesn't have to be split by just frequencies. If he uses short sound sequences instead, he could potentially add infinitely many commands to it. For example, a gradual rise can be 'accelerate', while a gradual fall can be 'decelerate'. A short rise and a short fall combined can be 'turn left' in that order, and 'turn right' in the reverse order. A sequence of a low and a high note can be to raise altitude, and the opposite can be to lower down. 3 consecutive short whistles can mean emergency break. The list goes on. There are more combinations of sounds that can be used as commands (memorizing them all might be a little hard for the master whistler, that's all).

You could make it take inputs in slight delays, where rather than a constant “while whistling in x frequency, do this” it’s a “if a whistle of x frequency is heard, do this for y seconds.” In this system, you could have a “command delay” of a second or two, and in that time, lets say I do a high whistle, low whistle, and a medium whistle. It then stores that as “go forward, turn left, go backward” and does that over the same amount of time the “command delay” lasts. So you put in a string of commands with whistle pitches, then while they are being carried out, you perform new ones. This would give the same feel of it constantly listening to you but might feel more streamlined and less clunky
It would need to be in a completely silent location to accomplish, though, unless you want to take a bunch of samples of your whistles so it only recognizes those and not other random noises.

PROJECT: A collapsing violin. Totally playable but then can collapse or explode while the player is playing it. TBH I tried getting this made as I play the Devil went down to Georgia (I’ve actually played it with Charlie Daniels) I wanted to play the tune and perform the song as I normally do but to have the fiddle fly apart at the end. This needs to be playable again though. Anyway love your channel.

I feel like you need to revisit this project. Refine the system! Maybe inject the coding and controls directly to the drone board. Add in specific frequencies for all axis controls, then practice matching those frequencies to have full whistle control. Would be hard, but amazing to complete!
Make Robin's bo staff like in the Arkham Serious where it is both extendible and has a taser on both ends! Also make it so you can actually use it in a fight so it's not flimsy!!!

actually that one should be super easy to do. Flash paper, a painted on layer of thermite paint and another minute layer of tnt. Put some of those little exploding firework things that pop when you throw them all over the floor on top of them. Someone steps on one and the whole thing goes off. You could wallpaper and entire room with it and nobody would even know it was there. It would be super easy to detonate too. You couldn't use it exactly like they do in naruto but you could use it in ways much more ninja like.

Problem is that shield is made of an alloy that includes the vibration absorbing Vibranium metal. This is specifically why he can land from jumping off a building without injury if the shield is under him or when Thor strikes him hammer on it that it doesn't just shatter into pieces and shatter every bone in Cap's arm along with it.
