I actually found it really problematic. Not having any kind of announcement that he is being paid to say any of it blurs the line between content and advertising. There is a reason many countries have strict rules on how advertisements can be shown

A lot of them have to straight up lie about their opinion of the product, in order to get any money, but the way he worked it in here makes it seem more organic, and less forced in order to make any money.
As a researcher in Brain computer interfaces, I would suggest getting into motor imagery BCI classification. Basically when you imagine either of your arms, or legs moving you are able to send a signal from your motor cortex. For your right arm, you should listen to your left motor cortex, for left arm your right motor cortex etc. With a little help of machine learning you can get a good accuracy for this device to be mind controlled.
The cool thing about Jlaser is that he makes stuff by himself. People like the Hacksmith have many teams and many resources. This guy is by himself and he doesn't have everything they have, yet he still creates great things
Neither did the Hacksmith back in the day, they have just grown and expanded just like this guy is doing now, it's the only way forwards to greater and better things, both is impressive!
Retractable wings is a pretty good idea and so is having the Redwing drone. But right now, there aren't any thrusters or anything powerful enough to lift a human while simultaneously being small enough to have an accurate build.

The only critique I’d have on this is that the lower arms had a lot of bending potential which never got used. Perhaps, in order to reduce complexity, the lower arms could have less segments, as to allow for more utilization of the arms’ mobility and less clutter. I noticed how the lower arms looked perpetually twisted and primed for movement, and never really moved. Regardless, my criticism is negligible considering that I’d never be capable of creating something as intricate as this. Great job on the project, I can’t imagine how difficult this was.

I would love to see You do an occasional build intended to help someone with a disability. Something like maybe a 3d printable robot arm for a wheelchair, a wheelchair that can climb stairs or is simply affordable for uninsured.
I don't think people realize how far we've come technology wise. We've built robots that can almost simulate human actions, We've built limbs that give us back things we lost. And we're just getting better at it as time goes on. Imagine 20 years from now where we'll be. fully controlling limbs neurologically. Shit's getting cyberpunk man.

I would love to see You do an occasional build intended to help someone with a disability. Something like maybe a 3d printable robot arm for a wheelchair, a wheelchair that can climb stairs or is simply affordable for uninsured.

I don't think people realize how far we've come technology wise. We've built robots that can almost simulate human actions, We've built limbs that give us back things we lost. And we're just getting better at it as time goes on. Imagine 20 years from now where we'll be. fully controlling limbs neurologically. Shit's getting cyberpunk man.
