    Probally the best explanation ive seen for correcting death wobble, its not that complicated and ive been telling this to anyone who has a drag steer

    Thank you for this! Finally someone that explains the caster after putting a lift. Just ordered me some adjustable lower control arms.

    Yeah ! That's how you fix it !!!! And ever wondered why bush bikes and motorbikes have their front forks on such a rake angle ??? CASTER !! Otherwise they would be imposable to ride ! death wobbles !

      Yes, around 5 degrees positive

      Excellent video !!! Was death wobble as prevalent “MANY” years ago when Jeeps had leaf springs securing the front axle ???? Also is death wobble less common when the front suspension is left stock ??? First time jeep owner here 2022 Gladiator sport owner. Thank you for your explanation

      @@MrJEEPJT As the jeeps are lifted you can use caster shims to increase to a positive angle that decreases the risk of death wobble.
      I just did it and no more death wobble!

      @@MrJEEPJT The stock suspension is less liable to have issues until parts start wearing. Leaf spring lifts are different and most don't change the castor angle so much.

      @@kevinruckdeschell2963 thanks for the response growing up in the 1970’s I had an Uncle who was a big fan of the full-size Jeep pickups I remember his last was purchased the last year it was made don’t ever remember hearing about death 💀 wobble on any of the “OLD-SCHOOL”
      4x4 with the leaf spring front suspensions.
