Don Miller - I was just copying the mono recording on this one. I usually do the slides live, but I never noticed til now there is no slide on this take.
The club bass is a different shape that the regular violin bass style. It's the same as the 61'/"cavern" bass with the different pickup surround and 2 color burst finish.
That’s what I was just thinking! Also, I was watching another video where some guy claims that apart from ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ (which was borrowed directly from a Chuck Berry number) Macca’s bass lines weren’t very sophisticated until Rubber Soul, which I suppose is generally true, but ‘Please Please Me’ has a few nice parts on the chorus and middle eight that definitely deserve a mention. 👍🏻
thank you for inspring me as a bass player, beacuse of you I regained confidence in my self
Nicely done, as always, Neil!!
Just wondering why you left out the signature opening and closing B->E (A string) slides Paul used on Sullivan.

Well done Neil !
Looking forward to the drum cover
That's my favorite model of the 500/1. Something about it...
Is that Revolution bass a custom or official reissued?
It's a custom, I bought it as is - didn't have it done myself.
Neil Candelora isn’t it just club bass 61’ with a revolution pickup surround

Effects? Interface?
Now could someone play a different bass line and the song still be great?
I would say so, this song isn’t as dependent on the bassline. It is a really great song, I would say it’s more reliant on the harmonies
I thought you were righthanded? Did you also play left?
Ikhsan Sube - Neil Candelora on bass! Andrew bockelman on guitars
