This Shulker Farm is extremely fast, providing you with more than 21 stacks of shells per hour! The farm itself requires no redstone to operate... while the breeder only uses a few sticky pistons, target blocks, and some redstone blocks.

Came for the breeder, since I'm building a bigger shulker farm than the one shown here.
One thing I'd recommend everyone add is a tripwire right above where the minecarts are to catch the duplicated shulkers.
Shulkers can teleport into spaces under string, so it doesn't block any duping spaces, and it can only detect the minecarts when a shulker is inside of them.
If you run a redstone line beneath one of the blocks the tripwire is on into the pistons, you can have the breeder automatically shut off the pistons and prevent shulkers from accidentally killing each other, without having to watch it constantly
Just built this farm in our realm! It was just as finicky as promised with the shulkers and their mechanics...however, well worth the toil to get the results! We have been suing it for almost 15min and already have 5 stacks of shells. I don't think we will need to use this farm for more than an hour or two to fit our needs for quite a while! Great job on the tutorial prowl!

PSA: the materils list is fairly incomplete. Anybody trying this I strongly suggest you bring the following extra materials:
- Twice the amount of rails/powered rails suggested as well as an extra stack of buttons/materials to make buttons. Chances are a bunch are gunna fall and you don't want to have to go collect them from the ground.
- You'll also need two buckets of water (at least, more is faster)
- You need 9 armor stands
- You need at least 7 minecarts, bringing a few extra is convenient
- You will need at least two boats to make getting the shulkers in minecarts a lot easier
- I suggest also bringing a few extra stacks of solid blocks, glass, wood and iron ingots. I had to make a bunch of minecarts, glass and other items that I didn't bring with me, and if I didn't have my emergency shulker box full of raw materials I probably would have had to make 3-4 trips back to base, which would have been a major pain.
- Also, it's not explicitly mentioned here but you want an extra, empty minecart in the shulker cage that doesn't have a slab in it.
- Make sure you have an Elytra while doing this because activating your Elytra ignores the levitation effect. When moving the shulkers you can use your Elytra to crawl under the raised pistons and hide from more shots/wait out the levitation, figuring this out was a game changer.
With all of that said, after going through the IMMENSE frustration that is moving and duplicating shulkers, this farm is INSANE. I finished it at about 1am and left it running while I slept. Woke up to more than a full double chest of stacks of shulker shells. I would need 3500 logs to make enough chests to use all the shells from ONE overnight afk session. Chances are I'll never visit this farm again. In future worlds I will definitely be making the smaller one because this one is overkill, but if you need thousands of shulker boxes for some reason then this farm will get you there EASILY.

Im confused on what you mean by an extra empty minecart in the shulker cage without a slab. Doesn't he purposely remove the minecart or is there something I am missing?

I LOVE this farm design!! And now that you've found the way to get them to the overworld I think I have some building to do........ after killing the dragon...... D'oh!! It's amazing how much more efficient you can make a process by repeating it a couple of times, especially with that insane learning curve you had to ride when you were making the first farm on the live streams. I built this again in 1.20.60 in my alternate world.
This farm is insane, you'll struggle a lot with Shulkers but trust me it's worth it. I left it overnight and got 2 full double chests of shells.
I just built this farm on my Economy Plus server. Thank you for the tutorial. I will definitely be building a shulker box shop in our shopping district.

This is absolutely the best shulker farm design I've seen. One AFK session will be more than sufficient for the vast majority of players. Well worth the efforts involved. Kudos. I hope this video reaches far and wide. 💯
8:58 yes but when me and my daughter made this the shulker took about 10 to 15 mins to fall out of the sky. It was a big relief when it fell. So people just be patient with them they like to fly. Love the video works great. Great work prowl. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 happy bday for the other day. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
So some small way to make this better instead of needing to break the carts (when filling the farm) use an activater rail. This will kick the creature out and then build a return so you do not need to go into the farm to get your minecart back. ( difficult to hit the cart on console)
Another helpful hint. When teleporting the creatures out a half slab beside them so the can not shoot at you while trying to break the cart. And come from the side. Build a full wall to block them from shooting you will make it a lot easier.
Just built this farm. Got the shulker in my over world and it works great! Will never need shulker again

Great work on the video. Built this farm and it is as good as you said. A couple of tips maybe to help, I enclosed the scaffolding getting up to the AFK platform because I found it impossible to climb up there without getting knocked down. And putting a glass layer at the spawning block level helped a lot for protection. I will have to try that trick to get them to the overworld, just drop a boat?
Just make sure you drop the boat straight down, placing a couple blocks off the bedrock column and breaking them to do the drop works just fine. Otherwise the boat/minecart being pushed in carries some forward momentum. A friend found my boat attempt hundreds of blocks from spawn.
[GLITCH] SHULKERS DIDN'T APPEAR IN OVERWORLD:
Log off and log back in, they'll appear. Also they could land far from spawn point. In my case the boat was 130 blocks North from spawn point

@@thenerdtoblerone4134 I tried this over and over in creative copy first. I wasn't sure what was wrong so I just logged off, when I logged back in and tried to move them again. There were at least a dozen boats with shulkers near my spawn point. So yeah every shulker I sent reached overworld. Are you sending the boat in overworld as shown? Also I didn't put any water near spawn point bcz shulkers drown in water so it's risky.
@@thenerdtoblerone4134 Also this farm produces a lot of shulker shells. I left it running for one night and got 2 full double chests. So you probably don't need that many shulker shells. I'd recommend go for the simple design.
This is the first shulker farm I've built that actually works and I built like 7 other ones tysm!
I built this in the end in my realm, but I didn’t build the breeder. Instead, I buttoned all of the shulker spots except for two. Then I got two shulkers into those spots and opened one more spot. Then as shulkers duped, I opened up more spots ensuring that there would never be a possibility that the shulkers get too spread out to hit each other. Others have already said this, but I’ll repeat it: invisibility potion works like a charm when you need to go outside of the safety of the armor stands. Also, leaves work in place of glass. This was super helpful for doing maintenance before the shulkers had filled the whole farm.

Yea, using the duplicator didn't work, because the rail car kept getting destroyed. So I went back to the end got 2 more shulkers. Brought them to the farm, eventually 4 shulkers turned into 20. I just put buttons on the places I didn't want the shulkers to teleport to, so they didn't end up spreading out and not hitting each other at all, and knocked off the buttons 2 at a time until the farm was full. A bit time consuming but was worth it. Thanks for the farm Prowl. 👍

I think I’m going to do it this way too! Moving shulkers is such a pain.
One suggestion is no thorns on any armor when working with shulkers. Made that mistake in my end farm.
Last couple days I have been looking at getting shulker farm in my overworld farm tower. I used silent farm in the end when update came out adding it. I now needing way more shulkers and in my most afk location. I will be adding this to my farms in my tower area. Thank you.

btw you can use peaceful mode and it won't make the shulkers disappear it will stop them from attacking hope this helps
Invis potions do work btw. Just need to take off your armor or else they can still see you. Made tons of invis potions and it was easy peasy to build.

I just built this farm with only 2 shulkers and I only built a few platforms at a time and it will fill up using only Shulker duplication mechanics. This farm is awesome
Anyone else having the issue were the shulker isn't even spawing another one untill it does
Got this built in a few hours, not too bad of a build difficulty wise. Had to use glass on the end gateway because they would stick to sides with buttons and not go to end island.
EDIT: takes about 2 hours to get to full speed. 3 hour AFK was 1200 shells/hr (19st/hr)
So glad to have this in the overworld. Building a giant shulker statue to encase it.

Yes Please Smaller farm too! I love the depth that you bring to doing these Huge farms... but supposing I ever get to the End, I am not going to take for ages building this to AFK at it for 10 minutes. I like the smaller but just as interesting farms because Who Needs 21 Stacks of Shells an hour in single player? Thank you for this!
100% would love to see a smaller version of this build as 21 stacks OF SHELLS per hour would be more than enough for any average single (or even multiplayer) world lol

good design but calling it no redstone is literally a lie multiple times over.
He said "to function" as in, just the afk portion.
When u build it next to the city u can build it without redstone u have enought in the city. When u make it with bockbreaking under the shulkers how he does it an endspown to bring then in the ebdportal but its mutch more difficult to build
If you finish placing the shulkers in the afk spot.. you don't need the duplicater anymore.. and when you use the farm...... you just afk and no redstone needed.. (but is hopper a redstone??😂😂)

The BREEDER requires redstone, not the farm.

Lol I built a farm similar to this in the overworld I did not build a breeder I just cut them loose in my world spawn and once I had a lot I built a platform in the air similar to this and I put the extra shulker’s in my buddies house, and I let them breed a few more times he had a lovely surprise of 21 shulker‘s in his house when he logged in. the farm is ridiculous. It’s over 1000 shells per hour.
Will the shulkers stick to the bottom of bottom slabs? The wiki implies they can, but I don't know how deeply the code has been delved. That'd simplify the build a bit, as you wouldn't need buttons.

With the recent change to Armourstands on Java making them not break to shulker bullet's would this Farm work on Java as well now?
Just finished building it, and man it cranks out the shulkers. Building it in survival was not too bad, though I created a glass platform 3 blocks under the duplicator module to help with building it. I could not do it from the pistons down like he did, instead moving the video around to do it from the bottom (temp glass platform) and up from there. I did it near the main end island over the void. Moving and populating the shulkers initially and then to the main farm is a real pita, so be patient. I did not get 8 to the main farm before they started blocking my path and made it really, really hard... I probably got 5 or 6 of them. It took a little longer to populate, but it did work and fill in the rest of the farm. Hardest part for me was breaking the tracks and glass between the duplicator and the main farm once I was sure it was going to work. Note: If you have your elytra on, you can "fly" down once you've been hit with levitation, which allows you to do this weird reverse jump thing to keep you in a reasonable position.
you should make automatic melon and pumpkin farm or a automatic piglin gold farm. love your videos

Fun build- Suggestion- shulkers can't tp onto leaves and can tp to only one side of slabs. A ton of time and resources can be saved by using these since its 1/2 resources for slabs, leaves are easily attainable, and it uses considerably fewer buttons. Especially if you're doing it in survival, so you don't need to climb below the build as much to button
Agreed. It looks better this way too. I think P knows this but this makes a shorter video. Could be just about engaging in a longer build.
At around 20:25 couldn't you put a lead on the boat and let the shulkers shoot you and just levitate on top of the duplicator? (Idk they could be too heavy or sum)
If you don't want to use armor stands you can also use water and soul sand to create a barrier between you and the sulker bullets
also if you do this don't forget to place signs to block the water from spreading out

Would like to see what we can do to maximize the iron farm trading hall given the nerfs and additional steps to gather villagers when we haven’t already built this farm.
i would suggest building it or getting the villagers before they nerf their trades like the librarians they're getting their end trades biome locked as well as costing diamonds

I believe your maximum trading buff will be having one zombie villager spawn in, curing each villager once and having hero of the village

@@GodmodeGaming1983 unless you have an older version or a villager trading hall already setup before they made the single cure for max discount, the zombie villager is limited to a maximum of one spawn if its near a zombie spawner now too
Built this farm, works perfectly only problem I’m having is 2 shulkers are dying and not duping but it’s not bad still good rates
Hey Prowl, thanks for the good tutorial. Wouldn't it be possible to transport 2 Shulkers to the farm, without the breeder and let them duplicate there?
Without the safeties in place there's a chance of your Shulkers dying off. Once you have 1/3 to 1/2 of your platforms covered you can probably let them do the rest of the work. That said having a Shulker duplicator is pretty nice lol.
I think if you add buttons to some spots to prevent spread out, you could theoretically populate the farm with only two shulkers. The issue is they sometimes teleport without duping, so you would need to limit the spots they can teleport to and slowly add them back
awesome tutorial what do u use for hopper direction arrows?
I have probleme with the breeder the shulker don't duplicate until he die and he teleport in to another minecart
I don't know why but sometimes the shulkers just don't want to show up in the overworld when I put them in the end portal, I laughed when I came back and they just weren't there, it was funny because I had a backup, otherwise I would have been in tears

Potions of invisibility CERTAINLY DO WORK. 100% of the time. You have to be aware of looking at endermen, as the potion doesn’t seem to work on them, and you must not be wearing any armor/elytra. That is how I built my shulker farm last week.
I guess Prowl is just salty because chat kept on insisting he use a potion.
if anyone is waiting too long to get the shulkers to go down in the overworld you can just log off and on to get them to get down instantly.
I would love to see the smaller easier version as i enjoy making lots of micro farms to get a little bit of everything

Since villagers are nerfed. Maybe reviewing over the best trades and a tutorial on the most effective farms to help you with trading
i tested to see if i could get the shulker that was already in the overworld to catch the boat and wasn't successful with that so if you're going to push them to the overworld push the boat in afterwards to catch them it still left the one in the air 500 blocks up but a relog had them in water, i also had to use a 2 water source block to catch them it wouldn't let me use flowing water or one block gap
Question instead of having a player in the afk spot can we have a snow golem in it?

With the villager nerfs that are coming, a raid farm could be more useful than ever as a source of emeralds. I've never bothered with them before. A tutorial for a raid farm would be helpful.

I had my 2nd shulker teleport to the underside of the target blocks...after some jiggery pokery i got it to teleport where it belongs...i put buttons on the bottom of all of the target blocks...

Built this farm at a fresh end city with ship no breeder needed and I play on switch once got 10 in the farm I afked and then the rest just appeared
I tried to add the first shulker in where the second minecart was already placed down but it just sat on top of the other minecart instead of falling down. Any tips on getting it in place?

just made this on a realm, the 2 minecarts in the same spot isnt working, the shulkers minecart landed on the other and didnt share volume. the minecart the shulker was hit instead of the shulker breaking the minecart sending it to the loading bay, any suggestions to fix?
edit. i just kept resetting it and once i had enough on the spawn spots they made themselves. highly recommend an activator rail to drop the shulkers at the farm. at first the drop on the glass but then quickly teleport to a shulker spot
My base is pretty close to world spawn so when I attempt to build this farm it's gonna be overworld baby 😉😎
Okay I just made this in my survival world and apparently they updated the hitbox on carts. The Shulkers just break the cart after firing twice now and that's all that happens. The other Shulker teleports. doesnt even die this time so theres no way to duplicate.
If they randomly changed the hit box where shulkers break mine carts now that sounds awful. I don’t believe there’s been any change log about it so if it was changed in the game it was on the down low

The farm requires no redstone and the breeder requires minimal redstone but yeah he was a little cheeky saying no redstone lol
Will this still work in 1.21? Just wondering if I need to AFK for shells for a few hours before the 1.21 update in a couple weeks...
You can make this work with absolutely no redstone as well :) just takes a bit longer to fully set up.
Instead of building the breeder, I just blocked off the additional spawn spots with buttons, leaving one full platform open. Once they are fully populated, I just open a spot. Built it about an hour or 2 ago and have the farm half populated already.
In other words, build this farm, treat it like his other farm he built, and block off spaces with buttons until all open spots are filled.
I am experiencing an issue where when I go to get rid of the minecart they are in I end up hitting the shulker instead and they die before I can affect the minecart
Hey quick question. I’m on bedrock and I can’t get a shulker through the portal to overworld. I looked everywhere around spawn. I want to build this farm in overworld
There is a bug and Prowl eluded to it that shuckers will teleport 1000’s of blocks in the air when they go into the OW. I need to try his little boat trick to see if it works.
Boat trick did not work for me. I got the two boats and not shulkers, copied the world and they were at 32000 height. Used 5 full stacks of rockets… couldn’t recover them. Decided to just build it in the end. :(
There is a big report from 2019 on the Minecraft website for this issue.
The mechanics seem to have changed. Done some testing and after filling it up, i have about 8 spots empty at any given time with shulkers dying and not replacing themselves.

Thats why I was careful to say the FARM uses 0 redstone to work, while yes, the breeded uses a little bit of redstone to put together.

Spent two hours navigating the 2 shulkers back to the main island, only to discover that only one arrived... back to the drawing board.
I am on a server on the internet so I can not get the seed. All my end cities on the server have been stripped of shulkers what do I do? (SAD)

Could you put an activator rail at the end of the track so you don't have to go kick it.
DO you still have to name tag the skulkers in the breeding setup when you leave to prevent them from despawning?
shulkers dont despawn. even if you go into peaceful mode. because the two in the breeding were generated with a structure (end city), they don't despawn. Kinda like how when you are playing a peaceful world, piglins and brutes still spawn in a bastion even though they are still hostile mobs

@22:36 he says... I have everything situated here.... while looking at a block without a button on it. There is also a spot on the bottom he missed earlier in the video. REMEMBER!! He can't stress enough having those buttons in every spot.
