I’m 14 turning 15 next week and I absolutely love tap. I’m a competition dancer still deciding what genre for my first solo but if I choose tap the step at 1:30 is so difficult but definitely being added 😭 I’m adding so many moves from your channel I aspire to just get better and better with tap and i love your channel so much
DAMN! That was BEAUTIFUL!! BTW - I really appreciated the course downloads I bought thru your website - very helpful & informative. Keep up the great work & energy.
I DID IT!!!!!!! I practiced the double yesterday for about an hour or so. and today, I tried adding this and it worked!!!!! Yohoooooo I’m happy😂😂 If anyone needs encouragement YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! 💪✊ Believe in yourself and you can do it!! It really helped me to hold onto a table or a bunk bed or something (don’t try to pull yourself up on it, just hold on to it) and to do it with eyes closed so I could imagine the move. Oh and also while holding onto something, it makes it easier to have 1 hand higher than the other (depends on which leg you are doing) so that hand added more support while jumping😝😁 Good luck!!!!! 💚 Thanks Rod for breaking it down for us😁
@@unitedtaps Thank youuuuu However I have realized that I kept my left foot on the floor as I was doing the 1st pullback on the right leg😅 Almost there
I am NOTHING! ❤️😭❤️😭❤️ Amazing. Question: I did Ballet for a few years and tried many other styles for a while on the side. After almost a decade without dance (in Switzerland it‘s quite expensive) I started tap dancing again and I LOVE it. I practice at home a lot because the loose ankle is really against my ballet instinct, which is quite intense cause I danced for dome time. My brain screams NOOO! Any input on how to overcome that?
That's a huge challenge. My only recommendation is to be extremely mindful of your ankle tension and do simple tap steps with the express purpose of keeping your ankles as loose as possible. Good luck.

Good job! The opullback will come in time.
Dude didn't even dance. Waste of time
As the title indicates, it was an explanation of Kyle Van Newkirk's Maxie Ford variation.
