I appreciate the video, it answered my questions. I went with the Sofirn SP35T as it resolved your issues with the bezel and tailswitch on the FC12. I know it's a different emitter and a 21700 so a little larger, but I'm really happy with it. Thank you, keep up the good work. 👍👍
Great video man! That's what I've been needing to see. It's been very confusing when researching this light. Some people have one version and some have the other. It was hard understanding the difference. Thanks 😎👍 Hopefully Amazon we'll put these things on sale for prime day coming up. 🤞😊🤞
WURKKOS here in Philippines still haven't finished selling their OLD VERSION FC12 yet & if you buy they won't tell you what you will get unless they know you are an enthusiast. They don't even place what version in their online store posting. If you insist the new version that's when they tell you they would get it from CHINA warehouse instead from Philippine warehouse which are all old FC12 versions. Careful when buying from LAZADA Philippines.
Great review. Sorry, but where the 10 lm "eco" level is over? In the previous interface there was the 10 lm "Eco" level (Runtime 230h, distances 22 meters) and the 1 LM "Moon" level (Runtime 400h, not specified distances), while in the new interface there is only the eco level of 1 lm (which was previously called "Moon") Runtime 230h, distances 22 meters. There must be a mistake, how is it possible that now 1lm has only 230h of runtime and reaches a distance of 22 meters? Could you check if the new "eco" 1 lm level is actually 10 lm? Is really a pity that they removed the 10 lm level (it was perfect for consulting the maps or to fill in the modules during thecontrols. 1 LM is too low, while the 80 lm "low" level is too high to read without remaining dazzled.
And by the way....I love the TD02. So simple to use. I love everything about . But it would have been interesting to see what it would have looked like with an SFT40. Although the SST40 it comes with is really white & almost looks like an SFT40.
@@Pritam043 Sofirn SC21 is very small and fits this criteria. If you want a bigger light that can still fit in pocket the Wurkkos TS22 or Wurkkos FC11 Also the new Acebeam E75 looks very promising
@@judyedwards4304 Thanks for the suggestion and we looked at that but the cap is tight as it can be. Have new battery coming in today and we'll see if that solves this issue. Thanks again.
New fully charged battery did not fix the issue of both red and green lights flashing one after the other when on charging. Even tried the battery and charging USB cable that came with the new FC 13S that came in today with the same results. Looks like it's time to contact Wurkkos.
I got the rechoo $13 light from Amazon but it has separate strobe switch and 3 simple light settings with the other side switch. Can it be tactical if you have to press two switches and cycle thru . IMHO all tac lights should have separate strobe and maybe turbo too really
I get what you're saying, you have to kind of pre-set this light up to be in tactical mode, but i agree its preferred to have them seperate. Check out my review of the Brinyte PT16. Sounds like its more your style
The SP35T is 21700 so it will be larger, but will have better run times. Also the SP35T is XHP50.2 so it will be a bit more flood and lower candela. It comes down to preference, i really like both. If you carry it in your pants pocket daily the FC12 will be more comfortable
@@KYROandHisThingsThanks for the reply, I already have the SP35T it's a great Flood light. I also use SC32 for a compact 18650 light but I might buy the FC12 cuz for it's throws & being able to use a short tube to use 18350 battery. We all end up buying so many flashlights because there's no such thing as a real all-in-one flashlight. Luckily WURKKOS & SOFIRN are affordable 😁
This flashlight is pretty bright but the bad thing is it only lasted about 2 weeks. Now it won’t charge or work anymore. I tried charging it for a while and nothing.
@KYROandHisThings my wurkkos hd01 can but the lens is plastic so I gets damaged . Could you please try and tell my I'm considering buying it but I want it to start fire for survival

Hi. How and where did you buy the new version? Thanks
Lazada advised purchasing the unit "without the battery" to get the new UI version. How was your actual experience?
hope i got the newer version..just got mine on a sale a week ago with a battery on Lazada

Please suggest good magnetic tailcap flashlight other than Thrunite T1 (because I have it already)

Does this have ramp ?
With the updated UI it swaps smooth ramp for tactical mode
I don't like that new UI. Thanks for the info.
What brand of battery do I recommend for the FC12?
Samsung 30Q 18650
no smooth ramping?

Can it light fire ??
I havent tried lol

It's normal if it's very hot?
only if you are running it on turbo for long periods of time. Turbo is really just meant to be a short burst of light.
How to remove it from lockout mode? I think i threw mine in some type of lockout mode
Try holding side switch for a few seconds
