Meherbaan Meherbaan was a fantastic number, also was Khoye Khoye Aankhein hai but my fav is Aapko Mujhse - brilliantly sung by Madhusree. A hugely underrated album by ARR. Went unnoticed due to the failure of the film.

Nd I think apart from Bombay even in Mangal Pandey, he did a qawwali but not ghazal!
Ofcrs, I knew it before about the Moment of the Day thing because the way she imitated Javed saab was so hilarious that it can’t be skipped! And yet, he was so right. Because entire song is birthed and groomed by a Music director more than anyone else. Everyone else will only come later into the picture!! Also, the way she mentioned about the new approach to ghazal by Rahman was also commendable. She very well said that it’s ARR’s trademark to always bring something new into his music and that’s his specialty and that’s why he’s wowed the whole world!
Unfortunately, I heard about this film but never seriously heard this album. Will do that first thing asap!! Thanks for this great episode guys! Keep going!!

It was a good idea to blend Western music with ghazal but I think what let me down was the heavy use of electronic music.

Looks like Madhushree was very lazy.. She did only 6 hours of Riyaz Everyday in her early classical music training !!! She could have watched Netflix / TV serials in that time.😈😈😈. On top of that she learned Western Music also. I am not liking it.🙄🙄🙄
