Fun fact: The premise of this is loosely based on a true story. There was a documentary made about it: The Mole Agent (2020) - "A private investigator in Chile hires someone to work as a mole at a retirement home where a client of his suspects the caretakers of elder abuse".

Came looking for this. The original documentary, "The Mole Agent" is based on the true story of Don Sergio, who posed as a spy in a retirement home suspected of elder abuse. The documentary is very wholesome, since there was no abuse at all, even though people were a bit crazy, which makes it hilarious at times, and very dramatic in some others.

Well, my mom and I are in. Ted Danson was hilarious in The Good Place. She got all excited to see Sally Struthers, too. We both love mysteries and comedies.
And the comparison to high school if you get into a nice community is apt. My grandmother was in assisted living in the '90s, and despite having missed out on high school she had that vibe of being one of the popular girls who sat at the big tables with her friends and talked to every one, and just enjoyed having fun with the other people at the community.

Ted is a treasure. As Sam, Michael, or himself, he always engenders trust and radiates a kind of warmth. Which, coming from a grown man, kinda sounds weird, but it's true.

Right. I always liked to binge watch series and watch movie marathons on winters and falls, especially good comedy or action movies/series or early 2000's tv shows like one tree hill, sopranos, the oc and etc. Light up few candles, smoke some bad ass ganja and get cozy with your friends or girlfriend and blankets and little snacks. I thought about binge watch the entire Power shows again and Stranger things, i can recommend Power to you if you haven't watch them yet you won't be dissapointed my friend

Danson is me. His daily routine is mine. His background, his marriage, his wife's death, his relationship with his kids, how he squares his corners, and how he conducts himself are all me. That was the hook. I watched every episode with hardly a break. Told in eight parts, a half hour each, it was a short journey along a beautiful path.
