Hi Heather, am not sure if you've ever done it but would really love to see a tutorial to beginner tufting. Like what you'd need to start. Would love to see it explained by you. I want to start but am afraid to commit with buying the machine etc. Have been doing acrylic pouring and resin art most of my life so me wanting to try tufting is pretty scary. 😅
I do have a video that’s called something like “watch this before you start tufting” where I did tips & breaking some stuff down! But I could totally do another, maybe I could update it! I totally get that haha I’m pretty sure that video has some good info!

You can always get another skien of the yarn and pick up that color in the new skien. I’ve been there with crochet projects before and it’s always scary until you remember, you can get more yarn ☺️

I'm so curious what it would look like if you used one strand each from two different colorways of that yarn! I do this with my knitting and crochet sometimes. I call it my "row row row your boat method" where I make sure that the gradients offset each other.
Also - if it's easier to work the tufting machine in straight lines up and down, but your gradient is also top to bottom forcing you to work horizontally.... Would turning the image sideways before you trace it fix that issue?
Last thing. Streaming at that time would be 1pm for me (CST) which stinks because I work third shift and that's during bedtime. I would be so sad to miss it... But totally understand if that's what works best for your schedule! ❤

You could totally use the center of that yarn, the ‘cream cicle’ color, and make an orange to yellow peach with it. 😊
(Also, if you know your doing a gradient for something before you put it on, you could always draw it on sideways. I say that assuming that vertical lines are easier) 🙈
