Seeing RC the first time almost had me crying. Seeing somebody smiling and pouring their soul into a live performance is so moving.
I did concert photography last year at their show with Carach Angren, Gaerea, and UADA. No theatrics just pure passion. It was great! 🤘🤘

Seeing these guys live was one of the greatest days of my life.I literally cried.We dont get to see much international bands live here in my country Srilanka but they came here and played with our local metal bands that was great 🤘☠️🤘

Awesome review and spot on about evolution. This album is so cinematic and sounds great in the headphones. Rituals was my intro to the band and it blew me away. Never knew black metal like this existed ( I was a thrash guy) Admittedly, there's a few recycled riffs and ideas on the new album but I don't care, still sounds good.
I have a very similar experience. I was mostly thrash and groove. Got into death. Discovered The Satanist by Behemoth. Then Pandora recommended Rituals and I thought... Damn I like Black Metal! Then I went looking for other black metal and I was like... Oooooh maybe not 😆

Lots of highly evolved black metal popping up out here. LAMENTARI's new one is sounding pretty special, but more like AQUILUS'(Bellum 2) or DYSTOPIA's(De Verboden Diepte 1)new ones with really developed mature symphonics. Thanks for the preview. Only con I see is that album cover. That painting has been used on multiple album covers and You Tube history video thumbnails. At this point, it's basically clip art.

Seems like last couple of Rotting Christ albums the focus has been on the lyrics not on the music which doesn't sit well with me. Plus despite not being religious I just don't hate Christ, I find him cute😐...

I live in the South, but I'm Pagan. I'm 63 and have been a metalhead since I was 10. The older I get, the more extreme my metal gets. Rotting Christ is definitely one of my favorite bands. I can't wait for the release of the new Rotting Christ album! They keep getting better and better!

@@anthonydavella8350I figured that you did. But we metalheads aren't all alike. My favorite subgenres are doom, DSBM and folk metal. But I've been getting into more extreme subgenres, more black and death metal: Rotting Christ, Lorna Shore, Cattle Decapitation; subgenres I wasn't into when I was younger.
