I've been waiting to see this review, and it was brilliant! Loved the history you said and that bit about the French driver cracked me up 😂 Great to finally meet you in person and glad you liked my car 😎 Nice work, Armagan! 👍
Cheers Sam and cheers to the future 🍻 that french driver seemed like he had no sense of direction 😂 glad to meet you too and can’t wait to see ur review on the Honda
@@ArmaganDemiral Cheers to the future! Well, there's no surprise there 😂 I'm hoping it will be soon mate!
I just brought a 1999 mk4 1.3liter as my first car with only 54,000 miles on it a view dings on it but still very clean for it's age with very little rust and im loving it, it might not be fast or cool but it's great
How does the 1.3 perform? Had any problems with it?
I had a 1999 Zetec as a first car. Loved the white dials too. I echo your thoughts exactly. Not fast at all but the gearbox whine and the exhaust note were just fabulous. I had a 15 mile commute to work on country roads and it was a joy. There was one section coming onto a dual carriageway where you could let the Zetec sing. Equally good at long distance and City work. Terribly slow with all your mates in the back and could be too sporty at times but always loved it. When you're pulling out of the junction after the Renault, that is what I mean by too sporty! They are very revy and the lower gears are short. Gets tiring in a jam. You sound like your Grandad revving too much everytime you set off 😂
I have a 2002 Ford Fiesta Forte. Also in mint condition. I've never seen another. Mine has the aircon, power windows, power mirrors, leather seats etc. Goes like a bomb. Love it to bits..
This is the best era for normal cars for me.
It's not all about performance, the cars actually drove amazing well and visibility was perfect, the peak.
Sure it's not safe as modern cars nor has bells and whistles but these were well tuned cars, if i recall Michael Shumacher helped with the ECU tuning of the Zetec.
great review, ive just picked up a mint version of that exact car for £1200 absolute bargain :)
Really good review tbh, definitely deserves more recognition. My friend has one of these, his has only done 48k miles, albeit you can tell it's only done that, because he had to do a few rust repairs haha. Well presented and great to watch
Cheers my man, yeah some big fiesta fans out there who keep these cars running which is great to see.
this was a great review, nicely presented. i'd like to see you review more older and mundane cars
Cheers dude and I’ll try my best to get older cars
I have a fiesta mk5 zetec s and I still love it just as much as the day I purchased it.Also my 2nd 1 of them aswell. Awesome fun little hothatches that's for sure.
Mine is still in excellent condition and I'm always getting comments on how new it looks. It's very well cared for and is my pride & joy. ;-)
The best fiesta ever made I think, just a real shame they didn't do an RS version mk5. of course alongside the mk3 fiesta xr & rs.
Still like those very much aswell. ;-)
I've just bought a 2001 Fiesta 1.3 its a base model so no frills at all no revs or engine temp shown on the instrument cluster, 26,000 miles looks like its just rolled off the factory line. Very happy with it, want to keep it rust free!
Great video lad. Loved the history of this. Everyone loves a Ford (well almost everyone) i always wanted a mk5 fiesta zetec s 😀
Cheers Ed! Appreciate your opinion as always. A Zetec S in blue yes yes yes
@@ArmaganDemiral blue, you know it pal
Better than top gear.
Always helpful with lots of information.
Great review 👏
Thanks my dude 🤟🙌
I got this car hit 10k miles 2024
Great looking car wish there were more around today
me too!
Great video mate, just found your channel Looks well for a mk5. I park next to one every day and the arches have rusted to nothing
Ahahah that’s funny, thanks for watching the video Matty. Yeah Sam from the Worth Reviewing youtube channel has kept it immaculate condition.
They are great cars, I've had my 2001 black edition for about just over a year now and even though it has required a lot of work. to this day I don't regret buying the thing :D
Thanks for the comment Gazza, was watching some of your videos before I reviewed this car
@@ArmaganDemiral no problem, your a good contebt creator and thats wicked 😃
Currently looking at one with a minor coolant flange leak, a blue 2001 1.3L model for €350, quite barebones but does have the original cassette stereo and A/C + 12v outlet, as a placeholder for my current car, which is a beautiful china blue (Peugeot EDGED) Peugeot 306 XR 1.4 from 1999 which is stuck behind closed doors in a for now shutdown garage, after i almost got it done myself, a bummer but it'll give me the opportunity to save this Fiesta
Had 3 of these such great cars going to buy another and turn it into a zetec s and puma it but keep it clean
I own one, 2002 Dagenham registered, its had work done, welding new parts fitted, might sell it oneday.
Its a mark 4. The mark 5 was when ford introduced their new edge design language
Good Review IAM Getting X Reg One 43 Thousend Miles. I Have Owned A Mk 4 As Well
Awesome dude!
Always thought the Mark 5 Fiestas were much stronger (thicker steel) than the Mark 6 which replaced it. Only got rust in the roof channel of mine.
was this modell availble to buy in the usa ? or as an europe imoprt ?
I have one its good
My mk4's only done 42k. Cracking car, no power steering on the Mk4 but it adds to the fun
Definitely!
Ford Fiesta MK5 1995-2002
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I own a 1.6 2001 fiesta ghia zetec se engine.
Mk4 face lift
Good review I never liked the tapping engines on these fords
Thank you! I know it’s very subjective

❤️❤️❤️
I have a white one rotting away on my property
If that cars feel like its sluggish at 60 and unstable you're cars at fault i used mine as a go kart traffic dictated my speed limit
