Cool setup! I myself just syphon out the front door and then use a water pump to push fresh SW from a brute in my garage. It takes about 10 minutes or so.
The thing I like about my set up is that the water level in the tank never changes when I do the water change. I know some sps can be exposed to air for a period of time but I'd rather not risk it 😁
For me it works for a few reasons. 1. The ease of use, no risk of spilling anything. 2. I use the container to mix and store saltwater for the next change. 3. It does the water change over 2 hours so it mixes in gradually. 4. When you use this the water level in the tank doesn't drop so if you have corals near the top they are not left exposed to the air.
Nice video 👍
Thank you! 😁

Hi, SUPER nice device that is for changing water. And you're the first guy I've seen put salt in first before water 🤣
Thanks 😂 it works well and exactly 2kg of salt always gets me bang on with salinity 👌
Very great idea!
nice aquriam
Thank you! 👍
Beautiful aquarium. What's the advantage of this over a simple bucket? I do 12 gallon change using a 6 gallon bucket, takes 15 mins

Curious. If the water level never drops aren't you pulling out some of the fresh sw you just put in the tank?
@@Joshua_R_Scott Correct. If the in/out containers are sized for 10% tank volume, it's the equivalent of ~9% water change
How much is this machine and where do I buy one?
They do a number of different sizes, I've left a link to the website in the video description. Thanks for watching! 👌
