This is one of the clearest tutorials I have seen on Palia. Thank you so much. I have never gotten the hang of gourmet soup bowl glitching but this is so clear. I want to run home and try it out. You have a new subscriber.
Thank you, this was very straightforward. I have been playing for a little while but have not decorated my house that much. I will come back to this when I'm ready!
Sometimes items will quickly flash yellow or green, and not actually place when you go to click it. The bowl trick just makes it easier to place, and it was good for demonstration purposes :)
Nice tutorial 🙂. I did 3 of them in the same house. Sadly, the bed worked on one only. When placing you can see the 2 "ends" of the mattress as shown in your video, but didn't work on the other two sections. Had the choice of seeing the headboard or where the feet is. A matter of a millimeter but hey! i'm a perfectionnist 🤭
Awesome tutorial! I want to build a cute nook in my bedroom like this. 2 questions- where do we get the gourmet bowl? Is it from tish shop or a craft able item? Second, to make the nook room do you just attach a hallway to the room?
Hi! Thank you so much! You can get the gourmet bowl from crafting other pieces in the set, which you buy at Reth's bar register in the tavern, or in the underground. The nook room is just a hallway, yes :)
Are the builders blocks the same as the builders crates? I only see an option for crates and the small ones are still too large. Such a cute idea! Disregard, I tinkered around and realized they aren’t too big after all lol
It's the hallway. Available from Town Hall where you buy building designs from. Also, once built, REMOVE ALL WINDOWS on each wall of hallway if you don't want them, BEFORE placing the builder's blocks and bed. I actually, for the first time ever, got my "glitching" to work, but forgot about the windows. Duh. The "wider" opening to this room is created by changing the doorway style, I think. Something else I didn't realize before putting it all together.
You have to go into settings and map your ZL button. Click on settings. Hit the right bumper two times to go over to controller settings. While in controller settings, hit the ZR trigger to tab over to controls. Scroll down to “multi select” and click “a”. A change bind menu will pop up. Press the ZL (left) trigger. Then, when at your housing plot, you can group select using your ZL trigger.

4:24 put it on 0.25 and you can see that it goes green 3 times, so it fits.
