I have it on my touring. Went to BMW within 3 weeks of owning. Had over two years now. I went stage 1 with MG Flasher and had Birds setup (suspension and LSD) I’m getting 440bhp. These motors are best of both worlds.. performance and practicality
I had the birds setup on my 335i touring and it transformed the car.... my 340i has adaptive dampers so unsure about getting the birds setup.. how do you rate the setup?
In currently looking at 340i/440i MPPSK for sale on autotrader. Only issue is theres about 3 of each on the market within 80k mileage. Problem is, M4 2014 onwards costs around the same. And they have really low mileage..2014-2016 mostly Is it really worth it? Might just save £3k - £5k or so and settle for a 335d/435d instead and save on the fuel cost and insurance costs. Or settle for a 520d g30 for the comfort and tech and MPGs
@ertugrulbae46 depends what your looking for tbh, truthfully the mppsk sound better than the m3/m4 but remember they are very different cars if you want more racecar get a M4/M3 if you want more day to day usability and something different go mppsk... All are really great cars, I wanted a touring so the MPPSK was for me, and if you check out my MHD stage 1 and 2 tune videos you will see for a few hundred pounds it becomes a m3 0-60 beater
Is this possible to buy for 340i GT F34 2018 with GPF? We bought one month ago and just as you are saying, i would just like to improve the sound a bit. We are from Czech Republic, so do you recommend to do it just with the dealer?
@Jirkawasscz Hiya, this is/was a optional purchase from a dealer. It is not only the exhaust but also a ECU map change done by BMW. Unfortunately I cannot find any part numbers for the 340i GT from there Parts Catalogue for the MPPSK. Another option would be to get a valved exhaust bacbox and then use MHD tune. There is an equivalent MPPSK map with MHD. Check out ua-cam.com/video/uF6jeh6CMiI/v-deo.htmlsi=Dz5LyjETzg5juovI 👍🏻😈
@@nought2sixty_0-60 cool, I have pre opf and I think stock sounds good not amazing but still makes me smile so mppsk must be epic, going to save up haha
I paid £1900 for carbon tips 2 years ago from Cotswold Hereford, was half price at the time (was half price all the time by the seems of it) Being 6MT I’d guess it would be less than 0.5 seconds 0-60, going MHD stage 1 was disappointing to be honest, but the way I look at it is MPPSK is a stage 0.5, so then going stage one is a very small increase
@@nought2sixty_0-60 I deliberately for over a year before going MHD stage 1 as I was paying for BMW extended warranty which obviously is void when tuned, I wouldn’t of bothered going stage 1 if I had driven another Stage 1 6MT before hand. She should be around 420bhp so around 50 bhp increase, at first I don’t notice any difference, but in sports plus she definitely pulls harder probably helped my the M performance LSD I also had fitted. I didn’t do a 0-60 times so I’ve no ideal what real improvements to performance it has given me.
I had a m135i MT that I went stage 1 on and wasn't overly impressed with the gains tbh... not sure if it's a MT thing or not though... I usually prefere a manual tbf but they don't make a 340i with MT. Plus I wanted to go bigger power later on and clutches slip at stage 2 onwards. How do you find the lsd? It made a big difference on my 335i touring but that had a birds suspension package also.
@@nought2sixty_0-60 my F30 340i is manual which took me a year to find, the LSD is better especially in the dry, in the wet it obviously provides more grip but as I’ve found it is unpredictable as it can kick out when both rear wheels are spinning. Regarding the MPPSK for a twin valve exhaust it is without a doubt by far the best quality and sounding exhaust for the price than any other aftermarket exhaust in my opinion
Agree in regard to the exhaust being the best value for sure... and yes there are a few manual saloons. I was referring to the f31... although perhaps there is a unicorn manual f31 somewhere out there??? I'd love one if there is 😁
Totally worth it such a great sounding machine
Completely agree.. makes it that bit even more a special car 👌🏻

want to get this but cotswold put the price up significantly over the last year - also does it pop and bang much? I heard they changed the map
It's not over the top with the crackles... I'd say just right 👌🏻 if you have a pre 2018 car it will be louder as no GPF... overall it sounds epic

Great video. Very concise and informative. Keep it up!
Thanks 😁 positive feedback is awesome 💥
Love this touring. Definitely a car I’d own!
Such a great sound!!!
How’s the sound in-cabin while I’m comfort mode?
@mattb6633 I'd say pretty much like standard perhaps a little louder but not by much... its all about sport mode 😁

😂 yes it does seem that way... but even so.. I think they look awesome and the map is a bonus. Out of interest what were your gains with MHD?
