Hi Dorothy! I really do have a lot packed into a small space! A couple of days after filming this we had a bad wind storm. A large branch broke off and came through my canopy top. Nothing damaged ( except for my tarp) and more importantly, nobody hurt!. I miss my shade tree though LOL! Thanks for watching and good a week. Julia

Question: Can all your canopy stock and display stands fit inside the building....and if it rains, how do you store the wet canopy? Looks like the set up and break down are a lot of work for you. I live in W. Michigan so know what weather you had to deal with. You now live in Fla., right?
Hi Phyllis, I live in MN and my little shop is only open weekends during the summer. I leave my canopy up all summer and leave my racks and tables under the canopy all summer. All my product is locked in my little building during the week. It's really easy set up. In the 14 years that I have been there, I have never had any problems until last summer. A tree limb came down in a wind storm and ripped the canopy top. Nothing major except I lost my shade tree:(
Yes, it's hard giving up all my summer weekends. :( The market use to be open only on Sunday but now it's both Saturday and Sunday all summer long. I still love it though, I meet so many people.

Hi Nancy, It does seem like a lot of stuff but most of it fits under a 10 x 10 canopy when I go to craft fairs. I don't make the clothing, just embellish or alter ready- made. Much less time consuming than making garments from a pattern! Thanks so much for watching! Julia

You have an adorable little shop. Just curious if you do well? I had a booth and lost money but of course I don't live in a tourist area. Right now I sew for an interior designer and actually sold a sample pillow to her for a client so that helps. I do love watching all of your videos. You are so talented.
