Hi Julia thank you for your lovely comment. I have heard about the white marks before but haven’t experienced it myself. However I don’t really think of myself as a good sewer, some of my very experienced quilter friends have said they hadn’t had any problems but I guess it is something to be aware if. Have a lovely weekend Julia, still very cold here but sunny at least. Big hugs and loves xxxxx🙋🏻😘❤️
Julia, I just love your work. You are very talented. I have not missed one of you videos. Keep going you are very inspiring. Happy Valentines Day to you.
What a sweet little project. Great for having sewing pens and small common items available, but not rolling around on your table or getting lost in the bottom of a storage box. Cute by itself, or as an extra pocket of your purse that can be moved from bag to bag, wherever it is needed.(Like my zentangle tiles and pens.) I am getting a better sense of how you work. I forgot to mark videos as I viewed them, so going back now to make sure you get your likes...I would mark “love” if it existed, for most of your videos. Great content, and good demonstration with verbal instruction. Love and peace.
Hi Julia what a gorgeous little purse, it is adorable-I know my two little granddaughters would love one of these. I have been using these pens for quite a while now, my sewing teacher calls them ‘witchcraft’ which always makes us laugh. I am still struggling to get some order into my free motion embroidery and I get so much inspiration from your work Julia. You always bring something fresh and gorgeous to make. I hope you have a fabulous St Valentine’s Day Julia with lots of lovely surprises. Big hugs and loves. Dorothy xxxxxxxx🙋🏻😘❤️
Hi Dorothy, Yes- these pens are like witchcraft- so funny! Aren't they fun though? Someone mentioned white marks left on darker fabric. Have you experience this? Have a great day! Julia
Hi Julia - I love this little project. You have inspired me so much that I have successfully "written" a few words and drew some designs on a scrap piece of fabric. I was so happy with the way they turned out and now that's all I want to do! I wish there was a way I could send you a picture. But just know - you made me brave enough to get over being intimidated. :) Thanks so much!!
Hi Phyllis, I love your comment! I agree with you-it's so addicting! I've been thinking about starting a Facebook group so we can share pictures. It would be fun to see everyone's projects. Happy stitching! Julia
🤗Hi Julia* my name is Kitty and I have a Question that I hope you can help me with. ❔ What technique would you use if you Free Motion Stitched a Block & used batting to stabilize & say you made it 10'×10' and then decided that you wanted to make it into an Art Quilt that was twice as big? Would you use a quilt as you go technique or is there a better way of doing it? I started putting together a project and I Really love the way it looks and I have some fabrics that would go really well with it. I had a plan in mind when I began but I hadn't even considered 🤔 the batting. I certainly will the next time. Note to self~ 5 Pc's of Success Proper~ Planning ~ Prevents ~ Poor~ Performance 😊😊😊
Hi Kitty, Thank you so much for watching. Your art quilt sounds intriguing! I think I would quilt as you go. Here's a video explaining a method that I think may be helpful. ua-cam.com/video/ji8BLS2rNHA/v-deo.html Good luck with your project. Julia
I am really loving these pens and they would work great for embroidery designs. I do suggest testing on a scrap. Someone mentioned that they leave white streaks on darker colors, and that the design may re appear when the project gets cold. I tested my projects in my cold sunroom and did not have any re appearing ink :). I have only used white denim and natural colored muslins. Thanks so much for watching! Happy creating. Julia
I really love the inktense pencils. I don't shade or do anything artsy with them, but I love adding color to fabric and playing with them. Thanks for watching! Julia
Hi, Different types of fabric will take heat better. Cotton can take higher heat. Yes, move the iron around. You can also heat set in your dryer. Thanks for watching, Julia
Hi, In this video, I am using a Juki ti2000, amzn.to/2BZpVTX. It is a quilting machine and is a real work horse. It goes fast 1500 stitches per minute and handles many layers. But it only straight stitches and free-motion. I also have a little portable Elan that has more stitches. It is older but does a good job also.

I for one would LOVE you starting a FB group! I'm sure your other followers would as well. I'll watch for that. :)
I've never used those pens but I am going to give them a try, lovely little pouch, and I love the Inktense Pencils, such great colour!
Hi Sheila, This was a lot of fun! I could do this all day and not get anything else done LOL
Love it yet again xx
Super super cute project and excellent video!!!!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
What a sweet project !! I love the design and colors. I’m going to try sewing a zipper for the first time using your instructions. Lol
l was terrified of zippers until I learned this method LOL. You have to give it a try! Julia
Great video.Thanks!!
Thanks so much for watching! Julia

This would be wonderful for transferring hand embroidery designs also. :)

I have the intense pencils. Now I feel brave enough to use them!, thank you.

Wouldn't heat setting the ink for 3-5 min burn the fabric or is it okay if you just keep the iron moving?
Hi, Different types of fabric will take heat better. Cotton can take higher heat. Yes, move the iron around. You can also heat set in your dryer. Thanks for watching, Julia
What sewing machine do you use for your free motion embroidery? Do you recommend a certain machine?

Scared of zippers 😩 But this looks so easy. Will definitely try one. The pinks are sweet. Thx once again.
I was terrified of zippers too! I don't have good memories of putting in a skirt zipper LOL. You will have to try a zippered pouch. It's so easy.
a friend of mine uses hand sanitizer instead of fabric meduim
Hi Annette, Yes I have heard of this but haven't tried it yet. I will be giving it a try. Thanks for watching. Julia
