HOW TO Reset the Low Tyre Pressure Alert and Recalibrate Tyres on a Nissan Qashqai (16 plate)

- It's a pain when your tyre pressure drops just a single psi and the warning light comes on your Nissan. Problem is, the warning light stays on until your manually reset it. Luckily, it's real easy to reset it - just follow this video and it'll be sorted within minutes. Happy driving.

Ah man youre a star, swear to god I looked at that for a year and Im not good with warning lights they freak me out. Course that comes from driving on the motorway once when the oil light started flashing on and off so I slowed down a bit but too late engine ceased!!!! That was an expensive 3000 euro mistake with a blocked oil filter.

Didn't work for me.
After finishing the calibration, the warning went back on, and the pressure reads --- on all four wheels

Thank you. But why does it come in the first place? Mine gives me the same error Maintenance ‘Tyre’ and then another one Maintenance ‘Oil Filter’. I have enough oil and I recently had a service but the light is on and I’m not able to get to a Nissan dealership soon.
It usually comes up on my car when my tyre pressure goes low - I’m not sure why it would come up otherwise - anyone else know why?

Thank you - no not sure why it hasn't worked. Haven't you driven after doing this? Try it again and go for a drive, see if that does the trick.
Does this work when I rotate my tires front to back, will it recognize the tires were moved and recalibrate to show that the tires were move to their new positions? Thanks.
I think it should be ok but can’t confirm 100% as I haven’t tried rotating my own tyres - can anyone out there confirm this?

Hi, I have just changed a wheel complete with tyre and the sensor for that particular wheel is not showing. I have tried the calibrate procedure but still to no avail.

Hmm not sure if I’m being honest, it should just work unless the sensor has been damaged in some way - hope you get it sorted
I dont know what year qashqai this is or the location but I have a 2018 model in Canada and this does not work.
We dont have the tire pressures in our settings display.
Mine is a 2016 model

I've tried this a few times, but it doesn't turn off the indicator light and the tire pressures show only "- -" even after driving for a while. I pumped to tires up so I don't get the warning message, but just the indicator light. It blinks for about a minute on start-up and then is constant. I released some pressure from the tires and it gave me a new warning message, but still couldn't turn off the indicator light doing this.
Hmm that's weird - I'm not sure what's going on there - anyone out there have any ideas?

I have a 2015 qashqai all I need to do is drive it and it's reset automatic it won't reset if the car is not moving

How can you tell if it’s genuine low tyre pressure?
Good question - sometimes it's just a matter of looking a feeling the tyre to see if it feels soft

I'll be honest, I'm not too sure how to solve that is the other warning signs stay on - have you pumped up your tires to the correct pressure before applying this fix?

Hmm not sure what is going on there? Have you drove a bit on the tires?
@@TonyLongworth the issue was that when the tires has a change of altitude the pressure inside can change
Now i had a reset and solve the alarm
