The NEW Jurassic Park Movies Fans Would Love To See?

- Sequels to Jurassic World Dominion have been talked about for a while now but fans seem to want to return to Jurassic Park’s past where the T.rexes, Raptors and Triceratops were a little more aggressive. Here’s my pitch for a prequel trilogy that I think people would love. Young Spinosaurus, Sarah Harding, Isla Sorna, the Hurricane, BioSyn. I have a lot of ideas and I’m sure more will be said from other fans.

I honestly prefer if they make a live action Jurassic Park TV show that has horror elements from the books.
I agree or they should just erase the World era films. And replace them with an Alternate Timeline series of films, where it all plays out differently, it's more grounded & serious & it can have spin-offs to it. We see how the new park was build up (but differently like no hybrids), we see the ups & downs of running a dinosaur park/zoo. Like how, we might see with modern animal zoos. Then we see Biosyn & other companies & black markets steal there tech, so they can make their own dinosaurs & other paleo animals. But the beasties escape or set loose somehow, they thrive in the wild, & this time we see how people can handle & live in a world full of prehistoric animals from almost all of prehistory.
They'll botch it like everything else
A streaming series retelling the whole thing since the beginning would be pretty nice. Whole new canon, could be based on the best parts of all the jurassic media that's been done since the early 90s into a cohesive whole.

I have an idea for a JP show where a teenage girl on a school trip becomes the lone survivor of a shipwreck landing on Isla Nublar around 1995 two years after JP where she must fight to survive the island in decay then she is rescued in 1998

I really want a horror element to jurassic movies. We all know how dark was Denis' death. How suspenseful the dilophosaurus was revealed in the book. And that guy devoured by juvenile t-rex... We want that!

Nedrys death in the book is awesome! But the bottom line is these are PG13 movies mostly directed towards kids… so we will probably never see an R rated movie

I would love to see a Prequel focused purely on the fall of Isla Sorna during and right after Hurricane Clarissa. The company trying to go harder just to make up for the loss of Nublar and gradually losing 'control' then having to evacuate by getting personnel from the Embryonics, Aviary and Observation posts to the Worker Village to fly out all while the dinosaurs are loose. The best part would be all new characters without plot armor, so anyone could get taken out.
New characters without plot armor is a great point, I find prequels very hit and miss due to stakes not really mattering because you have seen the characters future or shows like the mandolorian for example do great world building, meaning the new republic and the remnants of empire hanging on, but you know where it's all going
That's such a sick idea I'd love to see that. Bring back all the locations we saw in jp3 and the lost world. Would be interesting to see Ludlow trying to carry the company through all the lawsuits from jp
I'd love to see a prequel to the first movie. Seeing the park being built in early stages, accidents that happened, maybe even throwing compies on the mainland in there from the books. Make it tense and spooky.

Idk how to explain it but the feeling I have while watching the lost world is so good . The dinosaurs are kinda free but not really , there's the ruined facilities from site B and they're still terrifying while also being just animals

What I would really want is stories that came from Trespasser. In this “Return to Jurassic Park” film, what if there was a subplot about BioSyn mercenaries going to Site B, and the plan goes bad. Like Harold Greenwood hiding from the raptors in the dam? Maybe they find the worker village while the InGen guys are clearing out? Awesome! Maybe the Baryonyx on the islands because that was on InGen’s list! Or more Mamenchisaurus. What if they had the JUNGLE RAFT ON NUBLAR FINALLY!!

Another movie - or TV show - could also be based on the events of the 2011 Jurassic park game with events that coincide with the first film but from the perspective of different characters since the legacy character actors are getting a bit long in the tooth. At least we'd get a chance to see what happens to the barbasol can.
The Jurassic Fanbase doesn’t deserve this guy. All of these were amazing ideas, and although I would personally have no issues if Dominion was deleted from the canon of the franchise all together (hell, I might celebrate), it’s super cool that all of these ideas only serve to enhance the movie that’s already there (and all of the others films in general) in the best interest of every fan of this franchise! Hope Universal sees this and takes some notes! Amazing stuff!

I'm one of those that did not like fallen kingdom for many reasons, but the one thing it did was give an ending that left the franchise with the most potential going forward, more than any of the movies, and it baffles me how they can still fuck that up. The only people than know what this franchise needs anymore are the fans.

Ideas I have:
• Site B: Show hurricane Clarissa take out the facilities and fences on the island. Maybe some people get stuck there for a bit. Should be a lil' darker than the original movies.
• Return to Site B: Ingen's activities on the island in between Lost World and Jurassic Park 3
• A TV show highlighting mainland dinosaurs and the impacts on the environment. Some politics and action.
My idea
Survival: a high school senior is shipwrecked in 1995 due to a hurricane and lands on Isla Nublar after the events of Jurassic Park and is stuck there for nearly three years fighting off dinosaurs and fighting to survive, then in 1998 she is rescued revealing Jurassic Park's existence to the world
Something like Yellowjackets except instead of a whole girls high school soccer team it's one girl

A book accurate series would be amazing. Keep it gritty, violent and scary, don't dumb anything down and really get into all the details. 10 1 hour Episodes, big budget. Just completely revel in it.

We need a rated R Jurassic series that is closer to the books and invokes horror like no other dinosaur movie ever. These creatures have the potential to be shown as beautiful but also deadly
You know what? I just want to see Klayton Fioriti as an executive producer. That's all I want in the next JP trilogy.
JP has just gotten too big for my taste. I liked the small scale setting of the first three films. JP being a couple of mysterious islands filled with monsters that attract misguided scientists, adventure seekers and hunters to their doom is what I like.
A movie about a group of urban explorers sneaking onto Isla Sorna to explore the original island for their show/social media site could be interesting. Or maybe a seedy producer suckers a bunch of people into being contestants for a reality show that turns out to be on the island and is really an underground event for rich people betting on who will be the last to survive.

Part of me can see a Resident Evil style story with JP, with Ingen and some rival companies making their own dinosaurs and hybrid creatures that escape around different countries.

The hybrid was perfect for one movie- but then subsequently adding more made it uninteresting and boring (why I left the Jurassic park go game. A billion hybrids, might as well be Pokemon).
Dominion really bombed with their ending. It was way too cartoonish.
I think everyone is hitting the nail in a series- a soft reboot might be the best option for this series. Make it horror related to REALLY sell these animals.
Dominion had a good idea of the animals finding their place in the world, basically starting a new era where eventually we’ll have a Jurassic Park Steve Irwin running around filming the most dangerous animals but promoting respect and info on them sounds cool.
Yes we want the action- but like Hammond, I think we need to step aside and let life find a way and reassert it’s balance.

8:15 I had this idea that Dr. Wu cloned them from Rocky Mountain Locust specimens from museums in an attempt to bring back recently extinct animals that were caused by humans.

I’ve actually had a few ideas in mind. They would all take place in between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion. One would be a movie about the Mosasaurus because it felt underutilized after Jurassic World and you could explore the repercussions of having a giant sea creature being an invasive species. Another one could be about how Biosyn took advantage of the dinosaurs on the mainland crisis and could be used to help explain why Henry Wu had a change of heart. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Awesome New Ideas for New Jurassic Movies that Fans wanted to see, pretty interesting and I really hope that these new ideas for the future Jurassic Movies and the new Jurassic Franchise would be so much better than Jurassic World Dominion in my opinion.

I agree with all of the ideas in this video. A more grounded and simple jurassic movie is definitely a good choice moving forward. I once tried to write a simple and grounded story about a group of soldiers during the Civil War coming into contact with a Herrerasaurus pack, but that was awhile ago and i havent given it much thought.
I really want more from the classic Jurassic era. Either a Hammond show or more with the making of the park

As a big jurassic park fan I've always wanted to see the franchise go into survival horror territory akin to the suspenseful tension of the resident evil games but with dinosaurs really like your ideas to help better connect the jurassic series as a whole it would super cool for this to happen going forward
I would love to see a Jurassic park prequel series that takes place before and during the creation of Jurassic Park.
The main problem with continuing the mainland plot Dominion set up is that you'd have to explain why the large and medium sized dinosaurs don't get blasted/shot to extinction. Let's face it, mankind has a sad history of hunting animals to extinction and the dinosaurs would be no different.
Even if people hunted the dinosaurs down for a variety of reasons in the wild the dinosaur dna is open source so anyone can make dinosaurs so they will never go extinct.

Prequel about Isla Sorna going down during the Isla Nublar Incident which also affected Site B. It’d be lit to see Site B during its prime before the storm hit. Make the raptors scary again! In the original film and even Lost World they were a force to be reckoned with! The Trex deserves the same respect.

I've experienced everything there is from the World side of the franchise and I would have no problem at all if they just decided to simply delete everything about it from the universe entirely.
Except for "trained" raptors, maybe. The concept felt like an organic progression for the raptors as a modern animal that had its potential squandered.
I think you need an entire series but one that has been done thoughtfully addressing questions, potholes, continuity errors, and even retcons. The biggest thing they need to do is listen to fan/critics and take notes.

-show how Rexy was able to escape so that it doesn't look like a total continuity error.

The 'Return to' ideas are actually right up my alley, its something I've always wanted to see as well! But for 'Return to JW' I'd like to see the beginning of how they built the park and see more of the ruins of the island. Always felt like we were robbed of a proper look at the old park

I think all of those movies are great ideas! I think it would a be a great return to form for the series. I have a few of my own ideas, I would definitely love to return to the 1993 era but I would also really like to see something centered around the creation of Jurassic World. Something like InGen trying to recapture all the dinosaurs seems like it could get really intense. And I really like the idea brought up where the government wants Owen and Clair to answer for all of the tragedies like Jurassic World and beyond. And something I have always wanted is something akin to the show Lost. Where we could start off with some sort of disaster maybe something like Hurricane Clarisse but we better understand the characters or how the hurricane itself started in a series of flashbacks that then cut back to the present. I have no clue if these ideas would work at all but they certainly capture my attention. And great video!

Mouldoon being "Proud" of the Raptor, "Clever Girl!", more so than afraid or angry that she got the Jump on him, awesome touch. It really sold the fact that he Respected TF outta those Animals.
I'm not always big on prequels, but I'd really like to see at least one *good* prequel for JP, especially with scenes from the very first part of the book (the doc at the rainy clinic) and more from "Lost World" with the same director as Dominion. Make it dark, maybe with a hurricane thrown in for good measure.
I've always thought it would be cool to get one prequel movie that focuses on a younger Robert Muldoon. The movie would take place 1-2 years before the events of Jurassic Park and would show us what his daily job was like...raptors, T. rex feeding, stuff like that. The main story would focus on the animals escaping their enclosures (really bad but InGen was able to hide it from everybody before JP events). It would show Muldoon getting the animals back. It would have a really strong suspense and horror feeling. InGen doesn't want anybody to find out about the incident before they even have any guests so they don't send any support for Muldoon and his small team. It would kind of feel like the end of the JP book when Muldoon is facing the raptors.

Honestly, I’m hoping for more series one’s kind of like Camp Cretaceous but Set in the Jurassic park era kind of like Jurassic Park the game it would be cool to see something like that
they should completely start over again, starting on adapting the first book to the screen with changes and then do it's own things later on with new films.

As others already said, I hope they go back to what Jurassic Park, and especially the book, were originally about: creature horror with monsters that are imitations of Dinosaurs. I feel like the latter is a point that is often overlooked, and that is to what lengths the book(s) went to say "hey, those are not dinosaurs, they are monsters". I want to feel the thrill, the fear, the helplessness of the protagonists that try to defend themselves against a biological threat that goes against nature, while fighting greedy people that feel like playing god.
I would love to see a show that takes place directly after the first JP film involving a survivor of a shipwreck that lands on Isla Nublar in 1995 and follows a teenage girl that survived the wreck fight for survival on the island with elements from the first JP book and the Spielberg film then she is rescued around 1998,

I don't speak for all JP viewers and these are just my thoughts on the matter, but I have always felt that the reason why the first Jurassic Park (and to an extent the Lost World, and the first Jurassic World) was so popular is mainly due to how much more simple, grounded and relatable yet escapist it is. At its core, the film takes us, the viewer, to a theme park/zoo in a very believable setting, which immediately feels exciting and fun, but also relatable.
By relatable, I mean, because most viewers have been to a theme park or zoo before, and generally have an idea of what would be a cool themed experience, the setting really allows us to immerse ourselves in that sense of place and we feel like we are travelling there through the film with the main cast. Because the film uses as a plot device, a guided tour to guide the cast, and us, through the island, but also through exposition and premise, we can project ourselves into the film, and feel like we're in a park that you could actually visit, which makes it all the more unnerving and captivating to watch this place that we have come to love slowly fall apart. Add to that a great score, good use of CGI, practical effects, an amazing cast and of course, dinosaurs, and you have an eerie, addictive and timeless experience that will always be held up as the gold standard that's never really been recreated.
Every other film in the franchise has so far lacked that sense of wonder and relatability. They often feel so far removed from anything that made the original stories neat, compact, and satisfying, spinning wildly out of control with more unhinged and desperate ideas on how to capture audiences, becoming bloated, obnoxious, CGI heavy and arguably ugly, illogical, poorly executed pieces of cinema. Not only do the later movies incorporate bizzare concepts and experiences that no average human can relate to, like crawling away from literal lava while paralysed with a tranquiliser, or being on a glass roof, or fighting dinosaurs on ice, or killing giant locusts, but they also remove any sense of place or wonder. They all occur on random green screens, or random set pieces that we don't recognise and therefore don't care about, like the Lockwood Estate.
Whereas the first movie was really just a simple story about visiting a cool place, and having things go tits up in a hurricane, and rooting for two kids as they try to escape raptors in a kitchen, later movies took themselves so seriously and tried so hard to weave in irrelevant and over serious concepts like clone rights and whether or not a cloned British girl is a real human, and honestly, we just don't care. I'm not sure this series will ever capture that sense of pure simple spectacle that the first did, because it might not make sense to do that anymore from a writing perspective, or maybe that era of film-making just is over. We love Jurassic Park cos of the dinosaurs, yes, but mainly, we just loved it for the park, and getting to see dinosaurs just be dinosaurs.

I love your ideas for these in-between films cuz when you think of it between each of the original 3 films there is what at least seems and is perceived as a lot of time passing by with substantial changes to the direction each character and the companies have taken and there's room for some good films in there. I'd love to see some Dinos being Dinos and teaching arrogant individuals the cost of disrespect, pride, and greed. So great idea! Also, if you ever have the time, and please let me know if you have done this already, but it would be awesome to see an indepth personal ranking of each film, and why you give them whatever rank and rating you do. All we wanted was a world where humans and dinosaurs would have to coexist and see what would happen with all the chaos and terroir trying to survive instead we got grasshoppers
Would be AWESOME to see THE BEGINNING of Jurassic Park! See how Hammond gotten the VERY IDEA to create it along with how Dr Wu used frog DNA to bring dinosaurs back to life. AND WHY THE RAPTORS WERE SO AGRESSIVE in the first movie!!
What I would like to see is movies on a smaller scale on the mainland, like horror movies, dramas, but make the Dino’s dangerous again.

I like where you're going with it Klayton! I too was disappointed that we didn't really get the experience of man being thrown truly into a world where Dinosaurs exist and we have to learn how to co-exist with that kind of threat. I was expecting Battle at Big Rock style for Dominion. I still enjoyed Dominion alot, but it wasn't a masterpiece.
I want them to make a prequel series on how Jurassic Park started and then making the dinosaurs and the park.

Now that the Sonic movies and the Mario movie have shown that video game movies can be successful, they should make a Dino Crisis movie.
What I'd like to see in future Jurassic world movies is more hybrid dinosaurs. Like the Spindominus Rex, the Spinoraptor, the Parazinosaurus, the Gigazinosaurus, that would be incredible! Great video, Klayton! Keep up the great work!

Honestly what I want is a Jurassic Park Series (Similar to star wars visions) where different Creators and film directors could make their own short films to be in this series, I call it "Jurassic Park: Campfire tales", these stories will not be canon to the main timeline because they are else world stories (similar to Matt reeves batman) but do take inspiration from the main movies themselves, also the directors of these shorts can use any method of bringing the dinosaurs to life (ex: 2d animation, Stop-Motion, Animatronics, CGI, etc.) To show their creativity, These shorts can't be shorter than 5 minutes but can't be longer than 45 minutes (as a little rule), I think this Idea would allow different creators to do what they would do for jurassic Park and bring the fandom back as well.

The Jurassic Park movies fans would definitely love to see are movies in which there has been living dinosaurs in the center of the Earth for millions of years before they were cloned back to life. And it’s not just dinosaurs, but also a kaiju including Godzilla
The last movie was like someone read post it notes of what made jurassic park good and then mashed it together with spit and gum.
Would love a reimagining with horror lens and a character study of what each person represented in the story.

Would adapting Jurassic Park The Game into a movie be worth it? I mean it has a pretty good dark tone and to see that as a movie would be cool in my opinion. They would be able to bring back the old raptors, give dilophosaurus more screen time, have the troodons be more of a threat than the raptors and maybe show more species of dinosaurs that we haven't gotten to see.

I like all the movies cause I don't believe in the comparing sequels to originals narrative and separate the plot and story from the acting and script.

@@spino4313 well you are more than welcome to write and make your own versions of the films if you think you can do a better job. As much as I like all the films they would be much better if they were anthology series instead including the first one since despite being great also has flaws.
I think there is a ton of room for content and Easter egg drops, particularly from the TLW. The scenes almost write themselves: The death of sauropods near the worker village, establishment of velociraptor range and habits in the long grass, game trail ambushes, intraspecific t rex competition for mates resulting in facial scars, camouflaging night hunters from the book (pick a new species)etc. Everything around the hurricane and beginning of the end for InGen as they stray into breeding monsters like the spinosaurus.

On the subject of the Kirbys visiting JW;
I remember watching JP3 as a kid and largely just being wowed by the Dinosaurs. Rewatching it as an adult like 18 years later, I'm almost 100% certain the Kirbys wound up in federal prison and Eric got rehomed
Given the DEI initiative that was clearly involved in the casting of Dominion it really bothers me that they didn’t bring back Vanessa Lee Chester as Kelly Malcom instead of jamming in another new character that barely has any development to meet the quota.
Great minds think alike, I wrote a screenplay way back in 2006 about the fall of Site B, it dealt with Ingen trying to figure out what to do with their assets, and how best to navigate the financial loss off jurassic Park, the payouts to families of the victims, along with a news article from Malcolm creating a little pressure for the board, and a incident for the opening scene of the script resulting in two deaths on site B creating the need for a audit of Site B.
While the staff at Site B face pressure of loosing their Jobs, it had the everything from New species that had been created for future attractions at the park (JP dinner scene back image with years planned out) - for the first 45 pages it was a build up of the story and the conflict between the rights and wrongs from both Site B staff and the Ingen Audit team while the looming Hurricane was building then a Set Piece would build into the storm hitting causing the need to be evacuated (and not just because it's a bad storm) then it becomes an "evacuation survival" story with plenty of attack scenes that the characters couldn't just run or drive away from, they are in serious danger and must work for their survival
The best way to describe it's tone would be JP - TLW JP - and the 2019 film "Crawl" - the script was 120 pages long.
Either a prequel to Jurassic Park or a midequel in between the Jurassic Park and the The Lost World. But with that same dark tone as the original film and novels. Thats all i want honestly. Doesnt even need to be over the top like the last 3 movies. Something set in the early to mid 90s would be cool.
Klayton is a genius with Jurassic content. Like he said, not only would this strengthen the watching experience for fans, but it would help explain more moments in movies that either don’t stand out to the casual watcher, or add new ideas that we wouldn’t have known without those movies. This would also be a good idea to truly adapt Michael Crichton’s thinking, as well as scene adaptations from books but with different characters.

I have very mixed feelings about a "return to..." trilogy. I would love to see them, but also have the feeling the wider audience will see it as "squishing last drops from a sponge". Maybe a few mini-series would be better, with lower budget.
I've said this several times with all the theory, all the online not mentioned in film lore, the vague things like the spino all need a bridge to inform a lot of the " who the hell would let someone open a dinosaur park 10 years after a trex stormed through San Diego"
