- This is a breakdown of the official Jurassic Park lore in the timeline with canon from 1993 all the way to the era surrounding Dominion. From secret hybrid creation with Dr. Wu, Tyrannosaur captures, Raptor problems, Site B issues from the hurricane and even dinosaur events outside of the islands on the mainland. This is an hour of canon and lore within the world of Crichton and Spielberg’s series.

The more I think about it, and the more info I hear surrounding it, the more I’m convinced that the 1994 clean up story deserves to be made as an interquel film. It has so much potential from both a visual perspective and from a horror movie perspective that could incorporate some elements from The Chaos Continues in terms of the broken fences and crumbling buildings in an environment that constantly feels unsafe at all times. This is begging to be made into a film, and is exactly the direction that Universal needs to make going forward.
Would be a great film! One could just rehash the movie ALIENS but with Dino's instead!/jk
That would be such an awesome film to see, if done correctly. Keeping in with the style and aesthetic of the first 2 films. Less action like the world movies and more of a horror exploration film
Operation Cleansweep has totally untapped potential.
Also the hunting and catching of the dinosaurs could be a throwback to JP2 and JW2... I Love those scenes and The Chaos Continues depicts it even more heartlessly
@@kekke5805 eh, I think going full on Aliens isn’t the best approach, since I do not want the film to have an excuse to use clicked marine characters whose entire motivation is based on destruction. That cliche has been done to death. However, if they went with the core ideas of TCC, and they treat it as a true horror film, then I think it could potentially be something special.

Personally, I still find JP: The Game to be soft canon, mostly since we know that some things from the game did happen in film canon proper. Perhaps a remake of it or novelization or something to make it fit better is what we need. The Telltale game is one of my favorite non-film entries from Jurassic Park, and it's hard to see it not being taken as seriously (though I know that it was not 100% canon to begin with).
Speaking of novelizations, I actually did a fan novelization of Trespasser to make it more in line with film canon, if you would ever be interested.
I would be very interested in seeing your novelization of Trespasser.
If you release your novelization im sure alot of people would like to read it, including me!

It seems like in answer to what happened to Grant after JP 3 is that he went back to digging and basically just dived back into his work.
Though a sinister idea could be that Misrani/Ingen was behind the dry up in Grant’s funding that he alludes to in Dominion.
Great video. For a prequel, I suggest using Isla Sorna's lore from the 1980's, using Trespasser as a source.

This was a really great video! Having all this information compiled into one long video really shows how diverse Jurassic Park is! Honestly, some things are kind of sad, like how Wu and Hammond faced so many issues while trying to accomplish their dreams. Also, hearing all of this makes it feel like the whole Jurassic series is like a story that the fans have come across that the public shouldn’t know about, especially with all this secret and elusive information. The whole "secret operation" on wiping out the dinosaurs way before Jurassic World existed is fascinating to me, that and V2. We could have an entire solo raptor movie involving Owen and the others having a hard time dealing with it
This is how I see each of the Jurassic Park / World movies.
Jurassic Park trilogy: Science thriller, horror and suspense.
Jurassic World trilogy: Action, cheesy, barley a science thriller.
I watched a world movie the other day, the cringe can put 90 day fiance to shame.
I totally respect anyone who enjoys the jurassic world movies, but I despise them. they carry none of the spirit the original movies did, not in source material nor actual film techniques. the instagram color grading and excessive use of hyperdetailed cgi alone is enough to make me dislike them
@@allthelittleworms I very much agree. I love the Jurassic Park trilogy more than the Jurassic World trilogy. And that's pretty sad for me to say this. Because I really did like Jurassic World when it first came out back in 2015 and I was looking forward to what happens next. When Fallen Kingdom came out three years later, I thought it was ok. The ending is where I was most intrigued. Battle At Big Rock is where it truly had me very hyped for Dominion. It honestly had me thinking about all of the possibilities that can happen, notes they could've taken from the books by Michael Crichton, and what to expect in the next movie. And when Dominion finally came out after waiting for four years since Fallen Kingdom, I seriously could not believe Colin Trevorrow made a movie so unbelievably bad, it honestly really frustrated me because I had so much high hopes for this movie.

It's crazy how much lore JP has and without searching for it, you wouldn't find it - I rarely know something as secret as their operations from InGen

I’ve gotta honest about the franchise that has been biggest letdown is the serial inconsistency of the behavioral patterns of the animals, specifically, the raptors. Not only were they the first ones we were introduced but also educated about as far as intelligence. But, despite evolving into reproducing organism in Gen1 & maintain demonstrating in graphic detail what Grant warned us of, while still in full custody of the original park. Outside of a pretending to be incubated in JP3, was there any examples displaying higher IQ? Or did they just devolved further & further into ACME acres ancestors? Why are they growing easier & easier to manipulate?
Great video! Siting down and just listening to this whole video made my day. Learning more about the deeper lore and background events behind the scenes as well as in between the movies is really fun and interesting the learn about. Man this franchise is amazing to explore. This helps give us more information to keep in mind while we watch the movies. I am curious though, do you plan on doing another video like this that involves the canon and lore of Dominion and Camp Cretaceous?
