Victor also seems like he is just giving Tabitha the lunchbox as a sweet gesture, but when you think about it, he's been shedding his things all season. Like he knows he's not going to be around for much longer. With all of the stuff he predicted in season 1, I feel like he really knows that he's on his way out.
I like that you called out those banger lines because the writing on this show is fantastic. The dialogue, the pacing, it's just masterfully done. When I watched this episode I could only focus on "WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT??" but now that I'm watching your reaction, I feel like I can really appreciate the journey this episode takes us on. I bet a lot of people are looking for Jade. He seems like a relatively prominent person to have gone missing. Victor's sister is the most obvious choice though.
It's going to be so interesting to see the characters trying to get back to each other from both sides. It was brought up on Patreon but the fact that Tabitha has Victor's Lunchbox is going to be key to getting through to his sister and people believing her!
Sarah was never working with the monsters. The voices she hears are clearly a different thing from the monsters. First the monsters don't have telepathy and have never been shown to speak in peoples minds only the boy in white has so he could be one of the voices sarah hears trying to get them out. You just assumed the voices were the monsters because they told her to do "bad" things. Second the voices told her to make it look like a monster did it which wouldn't make sense if the voices were the monsters they would've just told her to open the door and killed them themselves. I just don't get wanting to see sarah dead so much when shes one of the most interesting and helpful characters in the show. I hate the fact that they and you call her a monster when shes clearly a good person in a fucked situation who was forced to choose between the lives of everyone in the town including her brother and the lives of two people and she choose the latter. And I say two people (the driver and the boy) because I have a theory that she might not have even known the nurse and the old man were down in the basement when she left the door open.

My theory is that the evil entity is convincing and suggesting the residents via hallucination. Why would Abby prevent Boyd from destroying the box? And she is twisting what "hope" means and discouraging him. Father Kathri figment told Boyd to be merciless and Tom figment told Jade to go underground.
