- We dive deep into the fascinating realm of investing, specifically exploring the often-debated dichotomy between growth and value investing. Contrary to popular belief, we reveal that there's no distinct line between the two; instead, investing boils down to one fundamental truth: every investment is the present value of all future cash flow. Through a simplified Excel demonstration, we illustrate how the valuation of a company hinges on its growth trajectory and the desired return on investment. We debunk the misconception that growth and value investing are polar opposites, emphasizing that all investing is essentially rooted in the quest for value. Drawing insights from investment luminaries like Warren Buffett and Philip Fisher, we underscore the importance of understanding the dynamics behind growth and value. Ultimately, our aim is to equip viewers with a comprehensive understanding of investing principles, empowering them to navigate the markets with confidence and clarity.

Absolutely love it!!! I'll have to be financially stable in every sense before purchasing my first supercar. The best thing to do with your money is to invest rightly because money left saving will end up with no returns
No doubt being financially free and able to afford these luxuries cannot be overemphasized, making smart plans and setting up diversified investment portfolios is quite essential.
you don't need that much, as long as you have 250k to 350k in cash, and earn at least 40k plus is fine. It not like you are going to pay the car off, get the car, drive it for a year or two then get something else. You don't need millions of manov to oniov nico thinnc.
Most people miss it but the secret to retiring comfortably is finding a way to make returns while your money works for you. My Dad, as i remember started saving for retirement quite late but I know he was making more than 10k returns from his investments monthly and it was completely passive
Agreed, my portfolio is well matched for every market season yielding 60% from early last year till date. I and my advisor are working on a 7 figure ball park
@@AliciaCrone Yaour financial advisor must be really good, I hope it's okay to inquire if you're still working with the same Advisor and how can I get in touch with them?
Paul, thank you! would like your opinion on Medifast. It's running at a P/E of 4, has got a v good ROE, gross margins are high, not a great net profit margin implying high expenses, reasonably low debt to equity, they've cut their dividends, buying back shares, but revenue seems to be dropping. All that said, worth a look in given it has dropped in price significantly from the highs?
Can you please give me excel formula for B18 cell. I try to understand PV but can not figure out how to calculate B18. Thank you.

I think there is a difference, just not what people think. It's more of a question of do you like companies that are established or companies that are newer/entering new markets.
Good point - GC
Superb video paul truely amazing 👏 🤩 👌
Appreciate that - GC
To get access to the stock analyzer tool what membership level do I need
The main membership level! Not the one that is community only
I’ve owned $PYPL for about a year, the price keeps dropping but the fundamentals are generally the same if not gotten better. I have a pretty big portfolio allocation towards it, should I continue buying as the price stalls?
Price is dropping because PayPal has no MOAT. There's nothing stopping other companies from taking their lunch.
Best of luck - GC
Anytime you invest its value, more specifically valuation relative to growth. If you had bought both Apple & Microsoft in 1998, when Apple was at a 4 billion dollar market cap and Microsoft a 322 billion market cap you’d have made a a 60,000% ROI or 28% CAGR on Apple compared to a 800% ROI or 9% CAGR with Microsoft. One took 10,000 to 100,000 the other 10,000 to 7,000,000.
Pretty interesting stuff!
Watched your interview with Aswath Damodaran from last year, interesting, the point about momentum was a highlight part. I have a hard time buying stocks that are going up unless they have a lot of upside potential where they're at. Sequel coming?
Appreciate that...possibly - GC
love your sound effects on lines going up and down
Thanks hope you like the content of the video too .AP
5:23 I love it, Paul!

Great video thanks Paul
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm just riding out things with my etfs, investing into SCHD 34%/SCHG 16.5%/QQQM 16.5%/VOO 33%. I just sit it and forget it. DCA doing several buys each week and letting M1 finance keep everything balanced out for me.
Good strategy - GC
Growth value dividends, keep this in your head when buying
Good stuff - GC
This is a very quality video. I’m sharing it wherever somebody asks me about stock prices.
Please do! We really appreciate it and are glad you got value out of this!
Why has paul stopped doing the sports analogies and examples I use like hearing them.
They'll be back!
@EverythingMoney make a video on Sony Stock please - upcoming stock split

That's quite a lecture sir. Congrats.

The missing link here is that at year 10, cell B18 and D18 is assuming the business will no longer make money. My point...company B growing 15% a year would be tough to buy at 12.8x current year's earnings.
Part of the skill of investing is realizing that 15% growth is unsustainable long term. Now is that 5 years or 25 years? That is the question. One thing it isn’t is ‘forever’.
Good stuff - GC
I wish the market was back like it was in the 80's and valuation mattered.
Good point - GC
Art and old baseball cards do have a supply of 1 or very few. Supply stays the same and if anything goes down. The demand can fluctuate some. There is supply and demand

This kind of video is way better than your standard video. Your message has been getting stale and this video, which is just restating your normal message but in a new way, is the way forward.

It changes. Ex: MMM - growth, dividend, value, back to growth after div cut 😂
Well, after SOLV spin off, it has to cut the dividend. So, Spin off helps MMM to change the direction

What tike do you wake up paul? 3 am
No that's too early .AP
Did you look into MMM and ABT? They are slowly recovering
Thanks for the suggestions - GC
You should interview Michael Saylor, that would be a great conversation
Thanks for the note -GC
